Garby getting dropped from the break that early after a good first climb is just the epitome of Carlsberg racing. Then Fabbro is the one that counters for KOM, despite Schoffmann finishing in the same group as him and actually being ranked in KOM. The ineptitude continues to astound me.
End my suffering, please. Somebody put me out of my misery. It needs to stop. I can't do this anymore. Can I just withdraw my team for the rest of the year and start planning for CT?
Hell that is what I did from the start of last season. Couldn't get any big transfers, so just got youth that I could keep down in CT and be productive.
Unfortunately all my youth are now on big contracts, so I probably won't even be able to hold onto them. That's the risk I took trying to stay afloat this year.

Atleast we are trying for the KOM. Shirota still somehow has a chance at the U25 GC as well, so not the worst race in the world, but Costagli really has been a bust.

Not the best result from Nielsen today, but he is still doing alright in the GC. A decent ride from Burmann gives us something to be proud of at least. |

Another massive ride by Machado, he can really keep the podium! Seboka taking a grip on the U25, race looking good. Congratz again Tamijo

Garby actually would have put in a good ride to keep GC position... if he had GC to keep. Which he doesn't. Sooooooo...

Not a great performance before a tough last stage, Benat better not have a bad day and choke a decent haul away (he will anyways)

Good job by Marquez in the ITT and so far in the race. Just need a big last stage, and maybe we get a good result for a change. I shouldn't get too excited though...

Second place behind Martin is fine, he is the deserved winner of the race. Congrats Tamijo!

Thanks for another fantastic report Kent.
Hard to hide that it was a race that went 110% my way.
Martin sometimes beyond my wildest dreams.

Honestly, I just have no idea how Garby was so bad even in a breakaway with injuries off. Frankly, a lot of my riders have eben strangely terrible from breakaways this year.
At least we'll get a couple of U25 points.
Thanks for some great reports!

4th is alright, but aside from few extra points picked from 7th finishes not gonna do us much good. Only classics left on his calendar, his fate has been sealed. Gulag

Wasnt a useless race for us I guess. Good job to Iino and Shirota for making it an interesting one.
Thanks for the reports.

Thanks for the great reports Kentaurus and congratz Tamijo! I'm very happy with this result, Machado showing top-tier PCT climbing and rounding out the podium made me very proud specially in such an important race, and having Seboka gather the U25 is the cherry on top of the cake

Well Cort Nielsen was horrendous in those last two stages, slipping from just outside the Top 10 to barely scraping into the Top 25. Burmann's KoM effort was really the only half decent outcome in this race. |
