Damn! Fully expected a 2nd win for us guys and disappointed not to catch the break. Losing yellow is a blow, but enough flat stages before the mountains for Mohs to take it back. He will just have to wear green instead for now

Congratz, but a bit sad with this early race breakaway wins.
Great report - thanks.

Wow, what a start for us!
Having 2 guys in both breaks, and allmost getting away with a win on top of that.
More than happy with this race allready!

Oh yes, fantastic work by all the sprinters to keep Mohs away from first place and keep Jos in jellow Good result from Mansilla in 6th too makes it a great day for Signal Iduna!
Doubt we can keep yellow for a third day with a sharp finish tomorrow, but hopefully Abelouache and maybe others can keep us in the action. Congrats to Azteca on the stage!

Brilliant day for our team
Even without Mansilla in 6th this would have been good already due to keeping yellow but his result adds to it. The stages better suited to him are still to come and im confident that this wasnt the final scoring for Signal Iduna here.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Having initiated the break on Stage 2 disappointing that we didn't end up in it! |

At least I spotted our green jersey in one of the photos today, hope they just save some energy for tomorrow.
Thank you Acquarius! |

Disappointing that Mohs didn't have the kick to take the win. Looked in a good place with 600m to go but the wind clearly had its effect. McLay working hard in the lead out is really good to see though. Put him into a good position to fight at the end.
Well done kent on the win and thanks aquarius for the report

Altanzul is going amazing! So consistent! Another 2nd place and so close to victory today! Only 3 points behind on the green jersey now as well!
Nice win from Keough and great report!

Fantastic job by Keough! He's off to a very good start to the season now in what should have been the less interesting part of this race. Now time for the real fun to start, need to see if Squire can do some damage on the hilly stuff before the big climbs later on against the real threats.
Great reports, nice to wake up in the morning and start off with a new report to read.

Another top 10 for Angarita, but hopefully in the coming stages we get in some breaks.

Great stage today, with mainly top 10 sprinter fighting it out on the last km.
Only Luis Miguel Mansilla was a small surprise.
Thanks for the report.

Yeah, first podium for the team, and finally Cissé got almost everything right. I certainly won't be complaining, though!
And Eenkhoorn's presence in the BotD was of course great, too. Finally we really got to see our jersey
Congrats to Kent, and thanks for the report to Aquarius.

I was dissapointed to not see Abelouache or anybody anywhere near the front, but it all turned around with what turned out to be a fantastic team effort to keep yellow! Wasn't expecting that but awesome news and a small chance to keep it yet again if Mohs and Altantzul don't get to where they need tomorrow. Awesome run.
Also very cool to see Naesen in the break, and to put my Xero cap on, absolutely great for our young gun Habtemichael to get his first career breakaway with McCormick!

Awesome to keep Yellow for another stage. Had hopes of abelouache or Killa Mansilla for this stage but keeping yellow is equally sweet. Next stage could be one for Mansilla. Hopefully we can get sth more before we enter those dreaded mountains...
Also another breakaway appearance. Thats the Evonik spirit right there
In the wrong races
