Panayotov tried his best, but to no avail. From a team standing point we're battling Andorra, Swisslion, Campari and Compal in the mid-table

Cataldo in there with a top 12-20 time , did not see him up there with the best, but must admit was hoping for a little more than that. Just hope he won't lose more and hang on to that top 15.
@Bjartne: Congratulations with that overwhelming effort from Jaime Suaza
@jaxika: Not bad either
@tsmoha; thanks for a another great report

The route has slightly changed after several managers weren't happy about last year's final outcome (gaps anyone?).
Too late At least it worked though, last year Pinot to Hacecky would have been one group
Congrats to Suaza, MON-RES-ACC is all you need sometimes

This is amazing!!! Hirschlein is a beast he has a legitimate AND likely chance to finish on the Top7, AND Uwi is in the white jersey with a big lead
Honestly the race could finish now these results are WAY above what I expected, it can only go worst.. But I expect a big outcome of this race now I'm praying for them to hang tough in the following Mountain.
Gratz Bjartne, I guess Suaza proved me wrong and Pinot being beaten was a shock to the system And tsmoha thank you for the great report I enjoyed it a lot!

Unfortunate that we didn't manage to get into the break today, despite an attempt from Vichot. Seeing as it was caught quite early, I'm not too saddened by that though.
Brozyna with a fine mountains debut for us, hopefully he can build on his 55th place and end a bit higher on the next one.

Wow I didn't see Hirschlein Awesome performance! Not quite his 4th place here in 2016

That stage didn't go well.

Surprised to see Gabby go on the offensive to retake the points lead, he's really trying to maximise his points out of this one and I'm hoping that he will continue to do so throughout the whole season.
If so then all these extra points he's gaining will add up to a nice bonus at the end of the season and could potentially be the difference between gaining an extra spot in the final rankings or not. Which if we end up on the edge of the disband places like the last couple of seasons could even be the difference between going up to PCT or not.
Congrats to Suaza on the stage win, nice to see Compal getting off to such a bright start to their season, hopefully they can keep it up all season as it would be nice to see them bounce back to PCT again.

Nice to see Thibault up there taking 2nd on the stage and continuing his form from Tachira. Suaza was unbeatable out on the road and congrats on the win.
Thanks for the great reports

A pity that the Sauber train didn`t go very fast. Coutinho and Von Hoff had the perfect wheel but both had to switch over.
Hochmann additionally though went for his own and to a nice 6th. Coutinho 9th another top10.
Pity to see 1) my team not making a train and 2) Ockeloen being in the group 2:30 behind losing his top50 this way. |

Another very good sprint by Korzh. Looked like he was one of, if not the fastest sprinter on the final kilometer. Unfortunately a little far back when the sprint started, though. Still think he is capable of taking a stage win here if he gets his positioning right.

I guess 4th for Guillen is a decent result without a proper leadout. Train just didn't work this time, maybe because Brajkovic didn't get involved, he did a great job on stage 2.
The points jersey is a nice consolation for missing out on the podium, it also gives us another goal to aim at

Decent effort by König yesterday.
Solid from Manninen today though I'm disappointed that him and Liepins ride separately. With Liepins doing his leadout job this would have been a win...
