The Mochema/Majka group lost so much time in that 100m. Crazy |

If it wasnt for Julian and Greg this was a horrible stage to watch. Although that new climb was great. |

This tweet was better than the stage lmao enjoyed watching GVA, also Taaramae seeming to be riding strong again, other than that nothing else. God I miss the 2011 Tour...

Ahh yes, nothing gets me in the mood for cycling like a good old sky train.

So...boring race this year?
If no one is going to attack Sky to catch a cobbles specialist on a mountain stage...then no one will attack on other stages.
ASO should have banned Froome for the watchability of the race. |

I who missed the last km of racing, what happend with Froome vs. Bardet,Quintana. Did they loose time on the mountains or downhill?
Edit: forget that I had the GC times open and not the stage results

Nothing happened. Valverde seemed to be into a bit of trouble in the very last few meters of the climb. He wasn't dropped but it looked he desperately needed that downhill.

Race needs more Contador, less Sky.

Nibali said it was impossible to attack today because of headwind on few climbs and on the last climb because of hard tempo set by SKYbots. But moreover downhill was not at all technical and hence no possibilities to make a difference.
Btw how do you assess Quintana’s chances? Do you think he will drop Froome on Alp D Huez?

Exactly. No one is willing to challenge the Sky train where a move would work. That isn't going to change on any of the other climbs.
Quintana is already a dead GC horse. He can't expect to win without attacking, and he didn't attack today. |
