Horrible for Iberia that Degenkolb not even performing on that competition.
Appollonio, no idea what`s happened but he is totally different to last season.
Pelucchi basically overperforming a bit as usual. Good sign for Lierse as those kind of results are needed.
13th by Van der Sanden might be a bit below my hopes but is pretty fine for him. Was a bit afraid, he wouldn`t even compete when not seeing his name in the preperations but good to see him sprint decent from a probably worse position.
4 riders behind dropped in the wind...good it`s the 4 helpers only while the leaders remained in the first group. Hopefully Dekker and De Bie can now shine in tougher stages.
In a perfect world De Bie goes for the 2 hilly stages without waiting for Dekker, while later though still follows the important GC riders such as Sicard, Lecuisinier etc. |

There is no "Appology" for Degenkolb not performing at this sprint, shame
Appolonio really is overperforming this year or certainly it seems that PCM loves him as its underdog favorite for most sprints. Much needed for bbl's team, so not the worst winner to come out from this stage

Degenkolb could not cope with the pressure of being a team sponsor

Jesus, Appo appears to be having quite the season! Congrats BBL!
Colbrelli comfortably in the top 10 is a welcome result also.
Cheers for the report.

Another sprinter who underperforming, even worse then Ahlstrand.
Feel ya Beagle!
Bystrom in the break collecting some bonus seconds is nice too bad he will loose way to much in the mountains for those seconds to be valuable or maybe he can deliver big time on the next stage and takten the yellow jersey |

Dafuq is wrong with Carlsberg and Lierse overperforming in every non-cobbled race?
Degenkolb got issues, tragic season so far.

Pretty normal start so far. Roglic lost around 30 which was expected of him, Sakellaridis was bad but eh, Malacarne though the real surprise there really doing his best to go into the harder stages on a higher note.
Thanks Aquarius.

Appo really going apesh*t this year to try to make up for our complete lack of scoring on cobbles. I can't explain it, but I love it! Absolutely thrilled to see him constantly overperforming so far!

Okay, just like time we tried this, the race was far harder than expected and JJ, while in the group, was not strong enough to contest. The good news I guess is that Contador stayed in the group. Maybe he's final starting to find some form after a terrible start to the season. I can only dream.

I´m glad we had 3 guys in that first group, could gain us some good pts in the GC when this race is over if it stays this way and of course hope Wellens will climb way higher. |

Good: Fraile held on to the first group and Maksimov didn't DNF.
Bad: The GC lead has been given to a rival.
Nice report and exciting stage though.

Well. That's a bummer for the pure puncheurs.
Congrats, CT. Nice report.

Glad Intxausti managed to hang on for another top-10 on a mountain orientated hill stage, good result for him. Congrats to CT though, Sicard looking good as always.
Thanks for the report!

Hmm a bit strange... Koretzky dropped hard in the end is bad for us really. Lecuisinier good enough, but so far a dissapointing race!

De Bie not showing anything was worrying.
But Dekker therefore with a very good stage and bonus seconds.
Looking good. |

Giro no results, and now Pichon abandoning Cali without a reason. Jeez. Happy that Froome got busted, otherwise this would be a real depressive week on daily for me.
