We're down to 9th and right now I'm not overly positive we won't slip to 10th with Ayubowan that objectively has more scoring potential in both Solidarnosc and Japan. We will need some more luck to end the season as well as I hope, though this has been an incredible year no matter what!
Azteca only has two racedays left. Vontobel, In n Out and Sancor are too far behind. Now we can only hope Shimano, Flores and Aeropostal won't all have a miracle ending.
Any chance we could have a notification about which teams are likely to disband? Or atleast those we know of for sure? I know that Metinvest and Avin will stop, but what about teams like Vesuvio/Eritel, Orange, Bouygues and those teams where the managers are hardly present.
Crommy haven't been online since October, and SportingNonsense only rarely for the past year and a half. CrueTrue haven't been online since february, and is usually inactive for a vast majority of the season.
The top 15 is still definitely possible. but will be tough, we have Vantomme at Solidarnosc and Sanchez at Japan, Eritel should be at Japan and Java but we only need 44 points on them and not sure how much they will score from those two races. Valio is a bigger worry with Lo Cicero and us having to take 64 points on them, which would require a very unlikely podium from Sanchez at least, not sure how much UBS will score in those two races but if they have Amador at Java they'll be difficult to pass and Arrinera has a 164 point lead and Froome, so will be very difficult to gain on.
Definitely need some exceptional races but at least a good thing to aim for in the final couple of races.
Promotion fight is getting incredibly exciting now too, will be interesting to see which spots are awarded. Thanks Roturn for the update.
