My best cobbler not even in the first 99 places once in both races.

Sbaragli and Boom did okay but actually in a race, where Cavendish wins, I had expected at least Boom and Nooytens to stay in the first group and Sbaragli as sprinter with 72 cobbles had been a bonus.

So while not expecting a lot in the cobbles this year I would still hope to be on the lucky side of a split at least once. Wink

64th; again not good enough by Veelers. But De Greef kinda saves the day by being in the break and hanging on to the lead group for 25th.

Congrats Smowz! Impressed that Cav could still pull off such a sprint after surviving the cobbles.

Meeh result, but at least Burghardt tried something. Not exactly smart, but I guess he wwouldn't have done much better in a bunch sprint without attacking so late.

A pity Saber ccouldn't follow. Looking at Cav, he ssurely wwould have been a threat there Sad

And wow, that was a surprising race result! Racing wise somewhat disappointing with only Burghardt trying, but Aker wise we couldn't have asked for more. Great result, and also nice to see us do contribute to the breakaway chase, clearly believing in Kristoff chances.

Congratulations, Smowz. Cool to see a pure sprinter, admittedly with a handy cobbles stat, take it. Very similar to KBK real life.

This was a meh race for Metinvest. While some lesser cobble guys hold on near the front, Nolf seemd that long before the finish - Albert also very disappointing, race to forget for us.

Congrats Smowz and thanks for the report the _hoyle!
