Is voting still open? If so:
La Vie Claire (can't not have Hinault there)
La Française
CSC
Automoto
Astana
Great work with the jerseys so far!

Results of the survey :
1) CSC - Saxo Bank - Tinkoff
2) Telekom - T-Mobile - High Road
3) Astana - Liberty Seguros - Würth
3) Toshiba - La Vie Claire
5) Renault
5) US Postal
So there are ex aequo. Meanwhile I had decided to move the Carrera - Mercatone Uno team to the second division, so it's good, the six teams mentioned above are included in the first division!

Cool to see your project being updated for PCM16, i will look forward to it. I just hope stats wont be inflated, with many 84-85s in stats everywhere, that is sometimes problem with these all-time databases. Good luck and thanks for doing this for community!
Also udoi, dont be childish...

I think there are yet many gaps and travel teams but (see banesto, Caisse d'Epargne, movistar) have not maintained the same mark. One example put Roger DeVlaeminck with Sanson-Filotex with whom he has competed only one year does not make sense to put it better with Flandria a team, a brand that is something that has endured over the years. However everything is subjective.
And then put Carrera with Mercatone Uno and Mapei with Etixx ...
Then I explain to me why I would be childish.
Because I express my opinions,

Nencini Gastone has never run for Sanson or Filotex the only team where it could be is the Legnano.
However everything is subjective. |

Thanks to express yourself. Of course old teams like Bianchi or Alcyon didn't change their sponsor because the economical part of cycling was not as important as today. BUT you can't say Reynolds, Banesto and Movistar are different teams, the structure is actually the same.
Roger De Vlaeminck made the biggest part of his career in Brooklyn, a team build around him, and I can't put a team in my DB only for one rider (even look at Toshiba La Vie Claire where there is LeMond and Hinault) and it's not true De Vlaeminck made nothng in Filotex Sanson, he won Milan San Remo and made 2nd of Paris-Roubaix behind his teammate Francesco Moser. I had to make choices and put De Vlaeminck in Flandria with some other big riders like Van Looy would be unfair for the players.
Gastone Nencini was in small teams during his main career, and belonged to Legnano in his early career, and at the end in Filotex in 1965.
Carrera and Mercatone Uno are the same structure too, build around Marco Pantani. For Mapei and Etixx Quick Step, of course some riders of Mapei went to Lotto in 2002 (I'm not sur of the date) but also some other went to Quick Step like Bettini, Museeuw, and the manager Patrick Lefevere. |

Thank you for this list but in case you would not have understood, I propose riders and you have to choice in the options. I know you maid a historical database, it's not a reason to spam my thread and never answer the right things. Please stop doing that or do it on your own topic. |

My criterion for the world champion proposals was that the riders had to have won minimum 2 WC, and I'm a big fan of Ferdi Kübler but he doesn't respect this criterion. But as a switzerland champion he'll be great also.
