Similar mistake for Niels Vandyck. That's all. Once that is solved, the ICL db can also run on PCM Fast Editor

I noticed Fernando Gaviria's Sprint stats are kind of low, considering the caliber of sprinter he is. His SPR and ACC are both 67, and ironically, he beat Peter Sagan in a sprint today, kind of. |

We had no idea how he would be when the game started, so he turned out to be a time trialer. Perhaps we could play around a bit with the FA's in the offseason, but that would mean a lot of extra work..

I get it, but he was a top tier sprinter since last year, that's why it was curious. |

Ooh, I'll have to rework things for the 18-rider minimum but it looks like my budget will allow for a bit of splurging. Time to do up some docs.
EDIT: For clarification (I think it may have been brought up before but I can't find it), we can spend 1000-1500 on the Dev team right? If I used 1000, could the extra 200 from the given bonus for dev teams (1200) be used for the main team?

Wow, really wasn't expecting that we would get the WT spot, I can honestly say that I didn't vote in the poll so it comes as a complete surprise. Commiserations to CCC and dominox, but I'm sure you'll go up to the top tier next season mate 
Our budget doesn't look so bad once I realised that we don't have the 1200 bonus for having a U23 squad, but a huge off-season and some luck will be needed to see us survive at the top level. Looking forward to the challenge!

ICL 17 - Transfers - Part 1 Steals

The first part of the transfer season are the steals. You can offer riders, that rode for another team in the season before, a contract. The rider will sign for you if the offered wage is (a lot) higher than what his current team would pay him.
But the current team of a cyclist will always have the first chance to sign the cyclist for next season. In the time of renewals the rider will demand a wage close to the one offered by the other team. If you agree you block the tries of a steal, if you don't accept the rider will leave the team to the highest bidding other team. The wage the rider will demand will be 0% - 20% less then the highest offer for a steal. It also depends on the riders loyalty (=years in team).
So now onto how the sheet works:
1 As always in the first table put your team ID in C1. You will find your team ID in "Budget". You will also find your budget for the season there. It depends on how you did in your focus races and in the rankings. New teams have 4850. A development team will give 1200 on top.
2 Go to DB look for riders you'd like to steal and put your offers in column AL.
3 Copy colums A-D in the table PM and pm it to me.
General rules:
1 You can only try a steal on a max of 5 riders.
2 You can try a steal on a max of 2 riders from one team.
3 You will notice when you offend one of those rules. AR1 will turn red and also in "PM" there will be a note.
4 This season there is a small fee added to the Steals to please the critical minds of this. The first two steal attempts are free, for the third you'll have to pay 5% of the amount you offered the rider, the 4th will be 10% and the 5th 20%. In AQ1 you can see what the fee for your current steal attempts would be. The fees will always be calculated from the lower bids.
Please keep your budget in mind. The stealing shouldn't be the main part of transfers it's only to give people a chance to sign a rider they think would be perfect for their team.
You have until Tuesday for this task. I'm also asking managers that don't want to send in steals, so I know you are reading this, after nothing happened here for some time. If I don't get a PM from you I'll PM you to tell you ICL Transfers are starting.

I've decided against doing steals this year after much deliberation. But mostly because OpenOffice has been loading this goddamn document for an hour and has made little headway, so I can't be bothered to deal with it's abhorrent ways right now.

Same issue as Scatmaster. I tried to open the ICL Archive file as well and eventually gave up after two hours of it attempting to load. I'll try to get it to work, even if I have to use an old version of Excel.

It looks like the Steals document did eventually load properly, and I was able to convert it into .ods format. See if this works for you if you can't load the .xlsx version
