Haga 14th, not too bad. Hopefully he can remain somewhere around those places

Disappointed with 5th. Expected at least a top 3 today
This race will be make or break for us in terms of a top15 in the PCT standings. Hopefully luck and good AI will be on our side for once.
Probably the most anticipated race for us this season. Can't wait for it to unvold.

Solid first stage from Samuel. The next stages are all about not messing up...

That moment your best finisher is in 117th place, while your lead sprinter is 120th
Thanks tsmoha and congrats Mobil

Robov seems to be coming back to form through Avenir and no into America. That god for that, great beakaway stage for him and hopefully he can do a few more like last seasons. Soupe sprinted pretty much as expected and bags a few points. Great start to the real action for the Blackfish

I wonder if Van Heerden`s acceleration lack is ruining their sprints. Possible the other way around Van der Sande could have won here?
Also not ideal for Chernobyl, who could need those podium points urgently.
Mobil on the other hand with a big win here. |

Its hit and miss really. Van Heerden had no problem following Van der Sande in Denmark, when he won a stage - but sometimes the acceleration just seems to kill him. Sort of middle ground here, as he made it up to 3rd.
At least I'm not using Iman Suparman as lead out man

A weight off the shoulders ... for now.
Great sprint by Castañeda, I really thought he add it there, but we will gladly take second and the points that brings (our first top 10 in c.20 stages). We really should set up a lead-out one of these days here, but that is secondary, what matters for us are the points here. His first points in an age, something similar in the next two stages will make me very happy!

Hofer getting in the break was a nice surprise, he managed to gain back a couple of seconds on GC which is nice. I think he was probably striking out for the youth jersey where he's only 1 second down now so it's a shame he couldn't quite put in a stronger sprint on one of those Intermediates to get it.
Awang has put in a nice first sprint here, A top 10 on the stage is a nice result for him.

Not a great start from Croket. He was badly positioned though, so hopefully that gets sorted out sooner rather than later. We'll really need the points.
Nice win for Mobil. Really happy for them, I think they deserve it.

Yes!
Stage win and race lead, just like I wanted. Perfect work from the team.
Hopefully now to win something else.. Or for PCM to put Walter to work for Raul.
And thanks guys. |

Nice start for us with Oliveira and Gonçalves in the prologue's top10.
This first sprint stage was interesting as well. I'm guessing Van Heerden will miss the triumph for a few more stages before finding his speed. Congrats to Mobil on that ellusive victory.

These flat stages are no terraign for us this tour - so getting zero mentions when we didnt make the break is someway good
No crashes this tour Anton!!!!

Happy to see Farrar giving it a kick, obviously would like to see better than 6th but will take it and hope to see even better in the coming days.

Yeah, wasting energy at the intermediates... At least my lead-out was no problem on this stage
Suparman 12th and 20th so far

Well 2nd should be good enough
Nice second win in a row for Granjel! Good stuff Miguel Also it's good, for racing sake, to see that Van Heerden is sprinting at least decently. Will be interesting to see if he can pick at least a win however I'm currently doubting so.
AI pulling off a very nice 85 riders split I see
Thanks tsmoha

Decent start for mobil.. Happy to see Anton so high this stage aswell, nice way of avoiding trouble and stupid time losses.
