Not bad from Van Poppel keeping himself up there and hopefully will mean a top 20 is possible that plus a coupleof pointsfrom the team comp may mean this isn't a complete disaster |

Can't say surprised nor expected differently, but it's still dissaopointing to get another absloute no-show from Guillen.

Props to Drapac for showing he's not completely shite. Would be nice to get in the break too, but I guess they don't have much of a shot at staying away anyway.

Perfect start by Boom. Winning the prologue was a small hope but I didn`t expect it really. Nooytens also very strong there, which could be some nice small pointers in the GC.
Groenewegen with awful positioning so far in both sprinter stages. On the first though he made a brilliant come back and jumped a lot in the GC while the seconds attempt was shit.
Schädlich, Dumoulin, Vanmarcke are rubbish here. Had hoped for a better TT by first two but the cobbles were too important. So Vanmacke was a bit disappointing there in the end.
Thanks for the reports so far and looking forward for the next. |

Totally forgot we were a part of this race, looks like most of my riders did as well. At least Farrar figured it out and found a top ten spot on stage 3. See if we can't start to figure this out a bit now.

Thanks for the detailed reports.
Keukeleire doing exactly what I hoped here. That third place made up for the lack of a top ten finish in the previous stage.
Also I'm glad Boom won the prologue. That seemed to be about right with his skill set.

Stage 4 is up.
Sorry, the export failed on me again, so I had to do a large portion of it manually, so unfortunately I only have the top 15 on the stage and just first in the teams classification (that's mostly the same as last stage though).
If you want results of specific riders post here and I'll try to find it in the replay.

Come on cio, you've got to be pretty happy now, surely?
All set for a very exciting final stage, for sure. |

That's as good as things get for BLK, equivalent of a win for us really. Nelson picked the right wheel and stuck it out, tad of luck but it takes skill to hang on in there. Will be very interesting to see his final stage and whether he could defend that 3rd GC. Also Thomas again finishing strong inside the Top15, he is almost better used as a free-role sprinter than on the cobbles!
I will dream of a final stage win, and dream hard

Lander is so strong, sold him way to cheap Great win for cio, as always is good to see that the real strength is shown. Will be an intense battle for the GC now!
Brilliant reports, trekbmc, love how detailed they are.

Bouhanni fighting to deliver some very important points in a stacked sprinting field. A podium on the final stage would be great!

The start was perfect. Since then my team disappoints.
If only Groenewegen would get bonus seconds once more, the GC would look so much better.
But somehow his positioning is horrible here and not even a top10 in the last 2 stages. |
