Lander with such a monster leadout, it was actually nearly too good
He proves me right that not loaning him out was the better option, he's already strong enough on 4.xx. 75 flat certainly helped against Vingerling on a crosswind stage.
Don't fuck up tomorrow and it'll look great for green, it also will be interesting to see who wins the KoM as that basically seals that jersey already. Thank god Prio is not here...

Nice to see Lander doing such a good job, congrats Cio(lek).
I'm still incredibly grateful for that transfer, I never thought I could actually get him when I put him on my shortlist, much less so for such a low fee.
Thank you once more.

Congrats cio, your sprinters do very well.
Gazelle completely invisible so far. Entire team caught in the split as well. That's what you get for going to home races that don't suit you.

Happy with that stage Groenewegen did not get closer to the white jersey and no one lost time just one more stage till the TTT now hopefully we can keep ourselves at the front and this could be a good tour. |

An unexpected second place, close to a win again though. Mixed feeling here, but all in all happy with it!
Of course now Peeters decides to get involved in the sprint..
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Anonymous stage, as expected, with Clarke's KoM hunt as our only spot in the flashlight. Congrats to DD, nice to see that we haven't just had normal sprint stages here, with wind and a break now on the last two stages.

Did not like the 3rd stage, but at least Fiedler was in the right place...
Kupfernagel was once again well in the sprint shame that they were still two fugitives

I hate this so so much.
Aegon turn up with a bad team at Bayern. They take the KoM and points jersey.
Prio turn up with a bad team at Dunkerque. They take the KoM jersey.
Gazelle turn up with a bad team in Japan and here. They take two KoM jerseys and a breakaway win.
Don't get me wrong, I don't hate those teams. I hate that they gain ground on us where they definitely shouldn't.

Wow, nice job by both Vangenechten and Gretsch! If Vangenechten doesn't lose the KoM jersey in the next stage, this tour actually is a success for us.

Dennis van Winden being a bit disappointing in the TT is no shock really.
However I certainly had some higher hopes for Vantomme, being 4th, 4th and 6th(although basically 3rd) in the sprints. Meh
Although every point is welcome ofc.

About the 3rd stage - could anything have gone more wrong on that stage? Erviti losing every GC ambition and Guillen lost contact aswell, every chance of stage result down the drain aswell.
4rd stage. MUCH better from the boys, Golovash in the deciding break, although to weak and only person to not make it from the break, great to see them active!
Awesome to see Guillen train jump and he seems to be the second strongest sprinter here, with is a pleasant surprise.

Sucks that Cataford lost time but to have only 2 guys lose time here in 4 days is a blessing really and I'm super happy about that.
6 in the top 25 going into the TTT one good ride here and we could be scoring some big time points

So Clarke goes in the break, the only one with KoM-points, and doesn't get any? Unhappy with that. A pity that he couldn't challenge for the win also. Only two guys left in the top, which is a bit disappointing. Hopefully we'll get a top 3 in the TTT. If not, this race will be a failure.

Great work by Breznik, man of the race for me. He was ready to be released last year, but won the NC. Now he's showing why I kept him, great work!
"The sprinter who shall not be named" back to his usual 38th place.

Maybe the team decided to rest for the TTT? |

With Schädlich in the break I somehow knew, he would take the stage without even reading further.
Luckily when reading further it indeed worked out.
Groenewegen as 3rd in the actual sprint continues with his nice improvement recently.
Now the TTT and I hope Schädlich hasn`t spend too much today. If we win and Groenewegen takes U25 lead it would be awesome. Pauwels, Groenewegen and Boom for a high GC anyway I hope.
Less than podium in the TTT is not acceptable. |

3, 9, 16 in GC.
2 stage wins and finally, finally a TTT win.
Definitely a great race for me. Even though it`s of course a pity to lose 5 good time trialists in splits.
Then Groenewegen with a very good race. Sprinting to some solid results as also 4th in points and 1st in U25 ranking giving him finally some good points.
Schädlich adds some points in the points and mountain ranking as well and the team rewarded themselves with the team rankings.
Might even be my best race of the season pprd wise.
Thanks for the reports tsmoha! |
