Good aggressive ride by Strelkov (I wonder if the Russian-interested CT teams are watching) and an all-round great result for African cycling.

As he's a former Novo Nordisk rider, I was hoping to pounce |

What the fuck? First I see Project: Africa leading the bunch in a cobbled race. Then I see Project: Africa making a decisive move in a cobbled race. And finally - I see Project: Africa winning a cobbled race! :lol
Nice reporting Atlantius. And a great start for the boys.

Happy that you are anjoying the racing. Hopefully some of the new guys will be watching as they are the ones most likely to sign the bulk of these talents.
aidan: You forgot Project: Africa mentioned as a favoirite for a cobbled race
Anyway it was a nice win. He was by far the strongest and found the exact right moment to attack. He should be a solid cobbles-talent actually...

Volovod hm? Ukrainian guy I overlooked somehow last year, could well have had Orlov's place if I had noticed him...

Thanks Atlantius, this effort is appreciated.
Decent performance by Becis - hopefully he is putting himself in the shop window to pick up a contract elsewhere after a short stagiaire experience at Nutresa.

I noticed him, but he does not seem to have a lot of potential. Maybe you caan give him a chance though.
Lipens sucked, but that was expected with his tragic cobbled abilities, he can hopefully do better on a pure flat course. Solid 10th in TTT for Metinvest colours though.
Congrats to winners, nice reports Atlantius!

Only lvl 3 potential in deed, but the best young unsigned cobbler in the area

Nice to see an Asda boi take third and the overall. Of course he's not going to keep it, but nice all the same.

Actually I think it's extremely hard to predict what kind of rider will win the overall. Potentially it could be a rider finishing 30th every single day rather than a rider winning the flat race and finishing last in the mountains - or reversed.
Edit: Just to make clear I haven't raced more than has been uploaded so no spoilers.

Thanks for another good report Atlantius - I like the inclusion of all the flags. Really helps to identify these otherwise unknown riders.
And another great performance by the Jaguar and Vesuvio lineups

Borisavljevic starting to show his name at the top positions. The top favourite IMO.

Some great racing here, thanks for organising this Atlantius. Our scouts have been following closely, and some performances from African riders have impressed them. We may have a look at one or two of the riders here in transfers. |

We won something!
Wonder why no one picked up Nitu, 69MO 67HI and 5Pot isn't too bad. Shame he's a level 2 rider...

Pretty quiet day for our team. We'll have a chance tomorrow. Nice show by the Privatbank boys!
This has really been a great event to showcase the lesser known youngsters. It's great to have this just before transfers and I'm sure there will be some contracts offered purely because of riders being spotted in this series.

Just spotted this and caught up on it - great idea and great reporting. Looking out for the Sri Lankans here as both are on my shortlist, and hoping Rajapakshage can win the TT |
