Not long to go until the Tour Series kicks off for this season !!
Surprised that Team Wiggins are not in it though. |

Driedaagse De Panne - Koksijde wants to become a WT race. Of course it's not the same as the other WT races, but it might work if they give races like TDU and Pologne the same lower rating compared to the bigger races.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Wiggins confirms his Hour attempt for June 7th. Unsurprisingly at the Lee Valley VeloPark (Olympic Velodrome). Confirms his participation at the Tour of Yorkshire as well. Alex Dowsett's attempt is May 2nd.

So a quote of ''insanely cool'' by DS gets a whole article. Cycling Weekly's seemingly the Daily Mail of cycling world.

I understood Chris Horner got really mad when Airgas missed out on Tour of California, and now he must be totally pissed.
The race he and Tommy Danielson battled so nice the last years, Tour of Utah has presented the teams invited for this years August race.
NO AIRGAS !! NO Chris Horner then.
Riding along in Azerbadjian this May will not be the old mans cop of tea ...

I understand that they still are yet to announce three teams, so there is the possibility that Airgas could still be invited.
However an interesting alternate scenario is that the organisers of the Vuelta a Colombia have said they are prepared to invite Airgas there if Horner rides, although previously this idea was thought to be off as the Vuelta clashes (iirc) with the Tour of Utah, but if Horner isn't in Utah then there's nothing stopping him heading over to Colombia... raising the prospect of an epic Horner-Rujano-Sevilla showdown
Meanwhile...
While Froome, Contador and Nibali all run amok in their favourite altitude training camp, Nairo's in France reconnoitering the climbs.
