L'Equipe reports Froome will do the Tour - Vuelta. Vuelta rumored to have decent length ITT as well.
Brendt Copeland, Lampre's maanger says he wanted to kept Horner, but the team sponsors wanted different riders and there was simply no space for him. The team sponsors wanted a Taiwane/Chinese rider in the team and with spaces limited there was just no place for Horner.

And on Didi: Will be missed ofcourse but there is no reason someone else can't take over the role of "nutter in a costume". Remember how i disappear for the Tour nowadays.... just saying

Almost as much of a shame as Admir being banned from the site

I have a strong candidate in a guy, who is desperately seeking attention at Daily. Maybe he can wait few years and take the job, as he would finally get the credit.
Guillame Levarlet (Cofidis) sentenced to one year in prison for causing the crash that killed Arnaud Coyot. However he gets to serve his sentance at home, under house arrest.

Quite funny, after I posted that, checked twitter line again, and boom, she mistranslated the news and changed it now. Indeed, suspended service, he got off very lightly...
It makes some sense to me. It (and other sources) read that he was cleared of homicide, which will massively cut/reduce any sentence/punishment. "Involuntary manslaughter" will never carry a big penalty in an inccident involving 3 people, of which two survived. Any competent lawyer can defend that pretty well as a pure accident/bad luck type deal.
Obviously laws vary between countries but in the UK such charges will garner 5 years maximum under a murder charge.
Long and the short of it all: It should not be too shocking a verdict in terms of length all things considered. Though the suspension of sentence surprises me
