Oh no. This is bad.
40th at best, Duggan & Toribio missed the split. Ouch.
Good job by Bekmanis, but wished for a better start.
Uh try being me... 59th at best...
Faster we can get to New Zealand the better.

Uwizeyimana the hero of my team today, being in the break and finishing as the best of my team after my two leaders missed the split. They will have a long and serious talk with their manager about their race moral.

Hmm the two hilly races so far go to late attack from sub par favourite. This though looked a little different with a strange PCM style selection. Bank of Ireland should not be too disappointed Mendes did at least show himself - gaimon will no doubt crawl back under rock like real life.

Looks like Marcel Wyss stepping down is good for his palmares!

I like the randomness of PCM this year. I know i'll regret what I said now at some point this season, but it adds alot to a game. It's really not predictable, so stats aren't really most important.
At least that's what we've seen in 3 of 3 races so far.

It is good to remember that the 10th place Soler does not count, so everyone below him climb one place...
Three disputed races and somehow three surprising winners

Was hoping for more to be honest, glad I didn't enter too many hilly races during the season either.

The best of my riders today is our loaned out Latvian Indulis Bekmanis. The others slightly disappoint without any attacks.
But well, exactly as many points as expected and seeing Bole's result I am glad I did not brought a stronger squad :-)

Watching this makes me think Gautier could prove a good shrewd signing as a sub-top favourite for the hills. Or he'll be awful like last season.
Great report Alakagom and an interesting race for sure. Expected more from Mendes though. |

No provocation intended but I am just glad that I decided against bringing Geschke

Tareq gets some extra bananas for being in the break, Bjorn will lose some because he missed the split

Woohoo! 51st is the way to be. I am glad to see our name in the break though.

Maher did a great job showing our jersey in the breakaway, but looked like Feillu didn't have the legs (or the motivation to ride a C2 race ). Crowded startlist, so can't wait for the tours with less teams.
Great report!

I'm not fully sure what to think of this. On the one hand, McConvey did very well today, which is hopefully a good sign ahead of the races he'll lead. On the other hand i set a podium as goal, fully knowing a podium should be achievable, so 6th&7th suddenly doesn't seem quite as great anymore. Anyhow, this wasn't the race that suited Mendes best, so expect more soon from the big man.

Very happy with Vitoria's 9th, these are exactly the kinds of performances I had hoped for. Fahnert ans Schafer were disappointing, but that doesn't matter in the big picture

Very nice report a good read indeed Extremely quiet race for the team, only saw the jersey once or twice in the whole race; although a result/points not really expected.
