Great report Admir, no surprise after reading your stories.
Surprising but impressive win for Vesuvio there, perhaps Schleck's last big one. However while PCM13 seems more selective, the massive peloton is a little worrying - hopefully it won't happen too often. |

Good 13. by Sanchez. Beating vdhh. retty
Strong performance by Olivier as well while Roux totally disappeared... weak result for him. I hope the double lead will work better in other races with more selection.
Congrats SN to this big win and thanks admir for that report. Nice season opener. |

Good work on that report.
As for my team, yup, we're gonna relegate.

Great report, and a nice and open race too. Was cheering for Nico, but obviously hasn't quite found his legs yet. Also, the Vesuvio equipment looks so, so good in-game. Really matches the jersey well.

Shame Gastauer didn't also attack, but at least he must have sprinted at the front of the peloton to ensure an okay placing. No idea why Cyanide thought it was a good idea to have the peloton sit up and do nothing - puts a bit of ranking point allocation down to luck if positions 30-50 are fairly random, while still giving 10 ranking points rather than 5.
Speaking of which, starting with a classic makes it easy to put out the rankings quickly. With 16 of the 22 teams making that front selection, many teams managed to score some sort of points beyond the minimum for finishing. Decent start for the promoted teams too, with 7 of the 8 being in the Top 15. ING the obvious exception, with a best result of 61st.

Ride of the day certainly goes to Demare, right?
Congrats SN and thanks admir for a great report (though it misses some fill words like 'a' or 'the' at a few points )!

Very nice report admir, congrats, it's great to see the season on the road.
15th isn't bad from Rui Costa, it could be better but it could be worst. Gratz to SN, Frank still has it in his legs!
Interesting to see how the hilly classics may work this year.

An okay start to the season, around what we could expect. I hope that in future classics we will have someone (most likely Preidler) attack mid-race. Could be possible to sneak in a really good result then

I'm afraid PCM13 doesn't really works that way. I played it alot, so I am pretty sure in what I'm talking. Once the peloton smells some attack from an outsider, such as Preidler, guys behind starts crazy chasing at the same moment. There's no way they can let such a rider that easy. I know it's shame that the game isn't more random, but it's Cyanides fault...Not saying that it can't happen, but it most likely won't.
Thanks everyone. I read all the feedbacks in the comments and PMs and I'll surely try to use them in future!

Half favourites actually do tend to attack mid-stage. I've only seen it in stage races though.

We will see shitload of this, it is the well known main feature of PCM13.
Congrats to Vesuvio, i think they expected much worse from Frank. Nice reward for SN to make 2014 season possible.

That was very, very disappointing. Hopefully not a sign for what is to come this season. Though, a nice read, thanks for the report |

Unfortunatelly, yes. They implented this feature with PCM12 and i will never understand why. It's the most annoying thing ever and will certainly destroy someone's races somewhere. Other than that, PCM13 will be better than 12 anyway.
Congrats SN. Huge opener!

First goal went there with 3rd instead of 1st, but 2nd in team rankings is great.

Lame! But good to see my 7 PTjerseys/equipment teams shining (especially Vesuvio and Good Energy!)
EDIT: Vesuvio is already out of the Favourite Man-Game Jersey Contest and if I hadn't voted Good Energy would already be out of it too! What an idiots I might be a little biased!

I agree, but it depends on how you look at it, if you just see the jersey (2d) Pendleton's probably looks best, but ingame I would say GoodEnergy.
