Happy for third place, but a little less impressive to promote when every team does so.
It should make it easier to survive next season though. With a lot of the most important riders in the team getting old, I will ned to sign some big names for next season. Preferably one of the big Italian sprinters.

Forget it, I'll buy ALL sprinters

Napolitano is already on the plane back to Italy.
Congratulations to all the promoting CT teams. Great to see active managers rewarded
What a season. Really not as great and full of victories as I had hoped, partly thanks to the sucky, sucky hilly AI of PCM12, but luckily we did enough to promote.
Looking forward to the European rankings - my final goal. Two misses, to completions so far.
It looks like the decision to focus on getting the top 10 in Asia just about payed off. With 658 of our 790 points coming here and with how close Gazelle were behind us it definately was a close call.
I have to admit.
Not realizing that a top 5 in the European ranking meant I had to compete with everyone, and not just other CT-teams was not my brightest moment.
Guess I should have realized it based on the number of points that goal was worth.
Finally a goal achieved! Just 1/5 like last year, but at least going strong in Asia this time. Congrats, valv and meiji! Especially Ji was impressive in Asia, one more reason to join Oz next year
Awesome! After a mediocre showing in Utah it looked like we were going to fall short of the 3000 point mark. I'm delighted the team was able to still reach the 20 points per race day average thanks to a brilliant performance in Zurich. This milestone is the icing on the cake: I truly couldn't have wished for a better season. Weening, Nardin, Furdi and Westra produced some remarkable wins and earned their place among the stars of the division, while also scoring 4/5 in the goals department. They couldn't have done it without our domestiques though. The support team did a brilliant job and even grabbed a lot of points in the process. Only 1952 of our 3005 points come from "the big four".
This first season was a lot of fun. Huge thanks to the people making the game possible!
And congratulations to my fellow CT managers for promoting. It was a pleasure competing with you and I'm glad to race you all again after the break...in the PCT!
So close, after kaschekhin won tour of America I new it would be close, hopefully I can bounce back next season and get back to the PCT. I will need a lot of thinking during the off season, but looking forward to it.
Anyway, well done all those who were promoted and who had good season.

5th is just about the best I could have hoped for, so I'm pleased to have grabbed a 'legit' promotion spot. Going to be tough in PCT, don't have that much to build on with Rohregger aging, but will be a fun transfer battle to see if I can survive.
Cheers SN and all involved with the game - it provided much entertainment throughout the year
Some applause is in order:
First to All the Admins and Reporters of the ManGame. Without you we would not be sharing this great hobby.
Next to all the teams who did well enough to promote. Well Done!
For the rest of us we all had some levels of success and failure. Learn from your mistakes and build on your strengths.
AMEXpc made a dramatic change from a climbing team in the D2 to a Cobble/Sprint team in this past season. Our cobble season was excellent and then the pipes froze and no more points trickled out. Our sprinters found at least 8 different ways to stay off the podium. In retrospect as a Team Manager I was not prepared to run a sprint team. I did not understand the synergies needed to have success. We had some decent young talent and a couple of 2d tier sprinters who would have succeeded in the CT but were left wanting in the PCT.
Danilio Kupfernagel had his bags packed long before the final races. His presence has already been forgotten. Tyler Farrar may follow him, but the coaches are going to re-evaluate his season to see if he failed or we failed to support him.
AMEXpc flirted with a sponsor change last off season and while negotiations have taken place recently with a German company to co-sponsor, it does not look like they will be on-board for 2014. AMERICAN EXPRESS and AMEXpc already have a tentative agreement and are ready to move forward with a 3rd season.
Over the net few weeks we will be deciding on which of our young riders we will move forward with and what are our veteran riders worth for contract renewals. The rider budget will be very tight again in season three so some veterans may want to seriously consider lowering their salary expectations.
One area where AMEX is strong is on the cobbles. One solid upgrade to that squad just might give them the best cobble team in the PCT.
Growth has to come in returning to uphill success. At this point we are not sure if that needs to be on the hills or the mountains, but we MUST improve our uphill point production if we have any hope of climbing up the PCT standings Ladder.
Love this Game and anxiously awaiting the rush, stress and excitement of the Off-season.

Congrats to the PCT teams promoting and especially to Tinkoff for winning it. I didn't have time to follow everything in detail, but from what I did read it seemed like a thrilling competition. The top 11 all being pretty close to each other backs this up.
Also, I'm impressed by the performance of new teams like HTC and Metinvest. Great job, guys!
