Yes. It governs how much a developing riders stats go up with each level and how much old riders lose stats as they get older. Higher potential riders (6/7) will gain more/lose less.
Though for the purpose of this game I suppose not.

I took one of the last two available teams which was Elextrabel. Unfortunately the team is not very strong. But the two riders i chose (who im sure are not chosen), who are Jimmy Casper and D'Amore are two good sprinters. Got the two of then to help in sprints but i still dont have someone who will win in the climbs but thats alright.

Managed to get a team so I'm happy, LKT really lacked a sprinter so Mohlmann was my pick, a little too late for Pierzga, looked like one of the best sprinters available. At least I hope my team will be at least competitive

Yep really good idea! Was interested in the Man game since I joined the forum, so now the chance has come to practice a bit
Excited with my Millenium team. Two decent sprinters and a decent climber. Wanted to get more Portuguese talents, but they were all quite a bit below the average level. So I opted to sign a Brazilian and Bolivian rider, who hope they can make a name for themselves in Europe but stay in the same language group |

Plus, your team all have good FL and STA stats, so you'll have a good train. Uphill races are your Achilles heel though, you'll have to rely on breaks. |

Miche is the favourite in the sprints though. |

Really looking forward to this - surprised no one had claimed Clavero before me as he's the best sprinter in the Cat A free riders! Should have a decent train (hopefully) with Bernatonis or Racenajs as lead-outs
I did kinda want to stick to the Baltic for my other rider but there really aren't any other good free riders from around so I decided to go with Matzbacher to improve the climbing

Clavero is indeed a nice find, I claimed a team a little late so I didnt get the riders I would have liked, oh well, good luck to you

All the teams have been chosen now.
When will the season planner excel document be released? |

When everybody has chosen his two additional cyclists. Iirc Jackstar hasn't chosen yet. |

That'll just make it an awesome game.
Then everybody will think really hard about which riders to pick when, and then the races will be much more exciting. |

I'm a pure sprinting team, I'm sure we'll get good results at the Tour of Andorra!!

Are we going to have to enter our teams in the team thread or will there be a separate version for this game |

Some people are REALLY impatient, aren't we?
Nah, just messing with you, but I'm pretty sure they'll walk us through the process.
