It will certainly make for some great gaps, but how would a MO73, TT73 do in comparison with a MO78,TT66? |

MTT is all about MO stat, I think. If there was some flat, maybe TT stat would also matter. |

MO78 will destroy the first rider (from previous experiences)

The 78 MO rider will do better 10/10 times in a hard TT like Mt. Fuji.

Hmm, that was the news I really didn't want to hear, knowing that my guys are good climbers and time trialers combined, but not even close to the best climbers here. |

Top 20 for you should still be possible tough. Pray for some Lo Cicero madness across the next months tough. |

I did not expect to win that stage. Really happy with Acevedo, hopefully he can at least hold the jersey on the next stage, and possibly provide a podium on the stage.

Congrats to Repsol, they were strongly present near the front in the closing moments and played that perfectly with Acevedo.
Now Efimkin has to attack in the hills, to get rid of pure climbers...

What a win, the team is really doing well right now and Carlos should be able to defend his small lead on the MTT. If he indeed can manage this, then I believe in the overall win - fantastic stuff really!

No, i did not pay anyone for this Rogers-gap
Hoping for a similar result in the second hilly curcuit, even though losing Kilun for GC is quite disappointing. Also Lloyd could do better imo.

Phew, Marquez kept with best. Tomorrow a stage win plus GC podium would make it another great race for us.
Thank god riders can't crash into TT's. It's a crash fest for us... :L

Very nice to see Watson in the break, even taking the KOM. Olsson seems to be riding nicely, hope he can grab a decent place in the end. A pity that Jorgensen failed to survive, but atleast Giacoppo is still in there. Congrats to ING!

Good performance but really regret not sending Serpa instead of Puusepp/Rocchetti |

Damn, there goes much of my hope at a top 10 here... I lost 2 riders there Masuda is only 26 seconds down, but I expect to lose much much more than that in the TT...
But, it was good to see some aggressive riding from JK Cycling. That's something at least.

I dont get this game. Awarding the gaps system is so flawed. And hills not playing any role at all, or it is actually a hidden mountain stage? Because for example Marquez has no problem to finish 9th with his 71hill stat, along riders with 5-9 points higher.
It seems like Castano will win the whole race and Marquez will finish second, both without much good hill stat needed.
71 mountain rider to 80 mountain rider would be finished and would lost 20minutes on the mountanious course, but somehow 71 hilly rider is as good as 80hill rider. Hills does not matter in the game at all...good that i dont have hilly leader, Hoffman can win it anyway.

And there did all our hopes of a good GC-placement disappear. Banihammad and Adamou needs to do extraordinary well on the MTT if we're gonna make something out of this. And Wang needs to be deadly on the last hilly stage to make up for the lost time on Mount Fuji.
Well well, it's still exciting to see the top guys battling it out. Keep up the good work Spilak! |

Disappointing that Ortega and Agudelo lost time, but at least Acevedo and Ardila are still right up there. Its a shame that we couldn't hold the jersey, but a big stage coming up now.

Koldo Gil Wow, this TT has all about the MO stat. Hopefully Costa can get a few of those places back he lost today but it looks like Gil could get me some unexpected points out of this race as well. Congrats to Valv, Ji was a beast in front of his home crowd. You deserve the win in your home nation after a ride like that.
