I know the solution is to just keep trying...
But has anyone found out why the game crashes when starting a new career?
Its just really annoying

Well, I don't think it's in the .cdb since according to Legorn it also happened for him when using the Off. Release, so my guess is it'd be related to the regen file. I attached the old regen in post #17, but I don't think anybody has tested and I only rarely get the crash

Not sure if it is a db-bug or a game bug, but i cant get past the 7. of august in career-mode. I try simulating past the date, but the game crashes, and the cyanide crash-report comes up. |

Started a career with OFM.
Can't get past the first stage of Vuelta a Mallorca. Tried
3 times to sim, 1 time to play 3d... No Luck..
Time to start a new career... |

Seems like a bigger problem than just that career. I couldn't start a new career without the game crashing. I'm reinstalling right now... |

You shouldn't have reinstalled it!
It's a common bug that the career can't start and crashes sometimes. Trying a few more times or choosing a different nationality helps.
And @Vuelta a Mallorca
Could be something wrong with the stage, but another option is that you've added your team to the Vuelta a Mallorca(With Lachi's Season Planner), but didn't remove an other team... Removing an other team would probably solve the issue in that case...

It couldn't, for three reasons: 1 - we haven't touched Vuelta a Mallorca stages; 2 - it would happen for everyone; 3 - simulating would work in that case

I gave option 2(Lachi's season planner) a better chance anyway
But I meant that the stage itself wasn't there in the game directory, by installing wrongly or something like that

That doesn't happen anymore in PCM12. Now if you're missing the stage files you'll see/race the stage Plouay - Plouay

My team doesn't have a stage that day, so i press the ''play'' og next event button in the bottom right corner. Then it starts simming a stage called sittard-sittard. The bar fills very quickly, and it is full for about a second, but then the game shuts down, and i get the Cyanide crash report box.

At first, welcome on the forum.
Secondly, there are 2 options.
1. You haven't installed the correct DB.
Have you installed the 2013 DB - All in One- Pack
For the update pack, you need several other downloads, for the all in one pack none...
2. You haven't installed the DB correctly.
So check if you have installed it in the correct folder.
It could be that it ended up in C->Program Files->Cyanide-> Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2012, even if your folder is called for example Saison 2012.

Can you write are the filesizes of the files you've downloaded? One of them could be corrupted.
