I am thinking of the filenames. I can't find out which files that are old and which files that are new (that stem from the stage pack). For example, I have TWO _v1 for the Tour.
You can look at the creation date in your file explorer to see which files are new.
Ask google if you do not know how to see the creation date.

That is what I have already done...
BTW. I get 202 files. What do you get?

I have done some math (unbelievable ) and you are right. 208 stage files it is.

Currently I am in season 2013. So I've installed the variant pack, but I don't see any changes for this season (which seems logical). Will the variants start in 2014, or will I just catch up with the variants (so the normal profile again, as the variants will be every other year)? |

I think you have to have installed them before 1st january 2013 if you want to have them in 2013.
From what I understand if varinats are installed you will never have the same one twice in a row so yes they should kick in in 2014

Well, you have one more variant. And normally the stage quality is quite good at Cyanide variants.
So you don`t have to ride always the same route. |

Just a fantasy route I guess. But imo pretty nice ones.
You can download and check the routes in the stage race window. If you don`t like, just delete them afterwards.
Imo the Tour is pretty hard with lots of mountains. The Giro has just very few mountain top finishes and the Vuelta is average.
If I remember correct all 3 GT`s have mountain time trials.
But you also have a great Dauphinee and Paris Nice variant with hard mountain stages.
And also a Tirreno variant. I think there wasn`t one in the PCM Daily. |

I have the same issue Oglalakev. I am on the steam version as well. I've tried everything I could think of but continue getting the same error. |

I posted about it on the yanide forums and they say that the stage pack is still at the testing stage and no yet compatible with the steam version, once the stage pack is ready for official release they will release it through steam as well. |

Just in case I am not the only one.
The path was obviously wrong. Instead of my PCM12 folder it was installed to Program Files...
Maybe the installer should get a path selector to choose your path.
So where we must put (in what folder) the file?
They just must to be copied into to your CM_Stages folder.
My installation path would be C:/Games/Cyanide/Tour de France 2012/
The installer path was C:/Program Files/Cyanide/Tour de France 2012/
So just copy the files from the installer path to your installer path.
This is only if you have changed the path when installing PCM12.
I've changed it also, thanks for help
Strange. Mine installed in the correct path (different from the original) and without me doing anything it went to D:/jogos/pro cycling manager etc, which is the correct path for me. |

I remember reading somewhere that playing Variant stages in Tour/Classic mode was possible in 2012. Is that true? |

Yes. Just go to stage mode and choose the race like Tour de France.
In the upper right corner you see some arrows, where you can choose like 2012, V1, 2010_Cyanide, V1_Emmea... for TdF for example. |
