Totally agree with this, there is nothing worse than buying the game and finding that it won't work properly because they didn't implement everything they promised and so have to wait for patches to be made
Well, you can just pretend that the game is released in August, then keep playing the 'old' game until August and buy the new one in August

I don't think a new stat would be needed for general recovery, they could use the same REC stat. Just having the 'in-race recovery' + 'out race recovery' would be more than good enough for me.

It's so simple when you put it like that |

I'd be happy if they would just release PCM9 with the graphics of PCM11 (or 10 or 12). No other changes. They would just find a way to ruin it. |

Ah, other stuff I remembered: with the new variants system, there should be a way to 'link' the WC road and TT... I don't want to have them in fixed years (random is nice, as long as it doesn't repeat), but having the RR in Belgium and TT in Qatar doesn't make sense. Also, the WC nationality should change with the variants, so that the nationality bonus isn't always for the Dutch riders. And it'd be pretty cool if we had an option to vote on next year's WC, like it happened in earlier games I think (I never saw it, but it must have been a nice feature).

To me, an accurate and realistic simulation of cycling is the top priority with realistic AI, time gaps and transfers. That is all I ask for, everything else is a bonus. |

wrong
manager comes first as the racing is very good, and has been the focus since pcm07 really
Transfers need some work though
Especially for region specific teams like Euskatel

A game with almost 0 errors and more perfection in the management part of the game. |

The graphics are great, but what annoys me are the sprints from 3 km out, and the awful, awful time gaps. |

It's really not that hard to fix unrealistic transfers in career though. There are other parts of the game that's more important imo.

Thats because of the scaling.
To fix that they would have to do 1:1 scale, which would require a brand new engine, and graphics and editors etc. They would make most of the game from scratch, thus the MANAGER part of pro cycling MANAGER would be even worse, if there at all.
If you want 1:1 just get the console game
and to balance the seriousness .... bangobongobingo chocoriver love

Cyanide would never do such thing, the game is hard-coded and engine only available to Cyanide staff.
I would like though, as other comapnies do it - Cyanide releasing the engine they build the old PCM's. Very doubtful though.
Manager Mode needs overhaul. And a a big one. Also I would like general recovery stat. There's one in stage races, but there's isn't one between classics. Wchich is annyoing. I.e. Giving on made-up example - Flecha doing 50km solo and winning Omloop - and next day starting with full green bar in KBK and doing the same thing...
It would be really nice if Cya release PCM 2006 with its engine and code as freeware, they cant have anything to lose. If we could get a programmer we could be making a whole new set of animations, the way riders act during races, manager mode, etc.. |

And that would be an obvious problem for the only developer of the cycling game.

Not really. The engine would still be copyrighted under Cyanide's name and so the progammer could mod the engine, and release 'mods' for it. Cyanide would own it and so the programmer couldn't sell his work as it's Cyanide's property - however I don't think Cyanide will release the egine for old PCM's anyway...

But there would be less people to buy the current versions, so that would be a problem.
Plus, it's not as easy as having a programmer and the game code to make a whole new set of animations etc etc. Just look at some cycling games which didn't work out very well, yet they were made by professionals.

well even a programmer can't create miracles and certainly not animations - thats a job for a 3D artist
and no Cyanide would never release their source code for anything even CM1.

When I'm in an escape some riders do not take over
I hope on a button where you can ask your fellow riders to take over

Cyanide MUST listen to the community !!!
What does it mean to ask for suggestions for PCM 2012, if they arenĀ“t to much interested in that?
...and here is another one:
Community would appreciate to much if the game was complete less than a month after his release, is unacceptable that even has not left the last patch correcting the errors.
Make suggestions or asking for improvemments is a waste of time, they do not listen to their community.
Of course they listen, they even have a subforum for suggestions, this being the one for pcm12: https://www.cyanid...741c44f532
That also means that all suggestions here might be worthless somewhat.

It would be nice for each individual rider in a team to have different dress codes.
Just for example in Team Sky Wiggins in yellow jersey would have yellow bike and helmet whilst other team members remain in squad strip.
And riders have there own choice of shoes etc etc
But i bet this would take a lot of graphical memory
