Martin 16' and Rolland 17' . And i forgot about Pinot he has finished 10th after he fell off two stanges in a row in first week , he's comeback was incredible . |

I´m also having a ton of fun in my career allready, currently at the Giro in 2015 which looks to shape up as one of the strongest in a while with Nibali, Kreuzinger, Froome, Uran, Henao and Pinot there as well as a whole bunch of riders that are just coming into their own (like Aru and Kelderman).
Riding with a custom Team sponsored by Wikipedia (but i adjusted all sponsors, wikipedia is now longterm and for now sponsors me through 2016, but edited the budget down quite a bit) , concentrating on the GTs and the other World Tour Stage Races (not a big fan of classics ...), but raced in Continental for 2012 and 2013.
My main riders are Van Garderen (finished 2nd in the Tour in 2014, although admittedly in a weak field and on a TT friendly variant), a young Italian named Cattaneo (8th in the Giro in 2014) and Daniel Martin (5th Vuelta 2014) with the main helpers being Kiryenka (15th Tour and 9th Vuelta) and Duarte (12th in the Giro).
My sprinters are Degenkolb (so far no GT stage win despite about 10 podium places), Tyler Farrar (unfortunately broke an arm just days before the Giro) as well as a game-created young rider who is allready challenging for stage wins at the smaller tours.
For the rest of the roster i´m putting a premium on good TTers (Sergent, Gretsch, Talansky, Lawson Craddock) for the smaller Tours and as helpers. |

Started a small career with Team Idea, a really intersting Continental Italian team lead by Frapporti (73 Hil/73 Spr/74 Acc). I've raced Etruschi and Calabria so far and haven't been inside the top 10. South Africa is coming up and I'm hoping that Frapporti can take a stage win or two there to really kick my season off.

Right now I'm still practising individual races, then I'll practice stage races and as soon as the last patch and db are released, I'll start a Lotto-Belisol or Vacansoleil-DCM career. Not sure 'bout which team I should choose, though.
Anyone done / doing a career with LTB or VCD?
I think VCD has more potential. |

my first double day win.
Bagdonas winning the GP of Moscow with a superb lead out from Eeckhout (got 3rd)
Joren Segers winning the second stage of Friuli from a breakaway that the peloton never chased with 4 other riders(farnese vini showed no interest. nippo worked on the front with 2 riders but nothing substantial. the next day is a mountain top finish with a cat 1 and a cat 2 also so i think that's why). If only i sent ronan mclaughlin . i thought i screwed up the sprint at the end by waiting too late to sprint but segers found a way through and took it.
the race has been worthwhile now, i was happy with bellis getting 2nd on the first day but hopefully the leaders team (that's me)won't chase the break tomorrow when i sent Mark Christian in it. |

Through their fitness program (click on rider and change tabs to "training" I think).

Well, when I click on rider and then go to his training, the only thing u can do there is changing his training (puncher, climber etc) and trainer.... |

Above his trainer, you can see a bunch of red, orange, yellow and green bars. That's his training programme which determines fitness. |

I did a career with Lotto-Belisol, very nice team to play with.
Vacansoleil's got some great riders too, though! |

New career with Euskaltel- nreal name DB
I am playing on Extreme for the first time and its really enjoyable. Was playing on hard byut had won everything up to Paris nice so went to Extreme and restarted.
4th in Oz with Nieve and just coming to Paris Nice now after some high placins in 5 day races with Sanchez. its very challenging and feels as hard as it should.
Update:
Really enjoying the season. Started this career as a gap filler until the new DB and patch came out but think I will just stick with it!
Sanchez lost Paris Nice by 8 seconds to Rui Costa (wpn 1 stage) , and came third in Catalonia (14 seconds down!).
My big goal was Vasco but lost a minute one day nd only finished 8th, won 2 stages though.
Heading to Ardennes now with Anton peaking (he won the Criterium International)
The only disappointing thing so far is how difficult it seems to stay with a breakaway. Numerous times I have had good riders in breakaways which have succeeded but my riders always get dropped before the end usually at a sprint or monutian sprint- anybody else experienced this? |

Despite of having to end my career, because of mistakes I made with variants, it's been jolly good fun playing a season with Farnese Vini. Highlights like winning Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, Strade Bianchi & Tour of Flanders got mixed with frustration about Pozzato getting a puncture at 30 km from Roubaix (when his rivals attacked, of course), my 'climbers' dropping out of breakaways in Giro mountain stages, no early august stage race that would allow Farnese Vini to start and missing out on signing Nizzolo, while happily getting Visconti back to the team. So it's a good blend of good and bad moments with rather realistic results for most races. Gives quite a decent impression of PCM 2012, despite of its flaws. |

Does using a leader or protected rider as a team mate influence his morale in Career Mode? Just wondering... |

If I remember correct only when you simulate races.
In 3D mode this plays no role.
But I might be wrong although I think this was like this in old PCM`s. |

I see. So basically, the leader, free element, team mate screen at the start of a 3D race is completely useless and doesn't influence ability, morale, form, whatever...
Thanks! |

It doesn't influence the game at all I believe, except one little thing :
The rider you set as leader can't get worse daily form than -3. So it's always gives you small comfort your leader will have okay-ish daily form at least.

excuse me can anybody tell me how to tackle the final sprint..?
this is my first time playing PCM, currently using Astana Pro Team in career mode (Feb 2012), never win any single race, only got sprint and mountain jersey and best team on Down Under Tour-Aussie.. usually using relay all the way till 5kms left from finish line, before pressing the S button, energy gel, and effort cursor.. thanks in advance

There are several ways:
You can build a sprint train using sprint follow starting at 18km;
You can choose the wheel of one of the favourites;
You can use a team mate with a decent sprint as a lead out.
Anyway, in all cases, your sprinter should never start sprinting before 1,5km. I usually start my sprint at 1km depending on my sprinter's acceleration stat.
This and this should help.
BTW, it's maybe better to practice single races before starting a career. Practice flat races, hilly races, cobbled races, mountain stages, individual and team time trials, small tours and grand tours, always starting with .1, then .HC and then WT.
