Cunego is a few minutes down on GC, so he goes on a breakaway on stage 15 and becomes the pink jersey because nobody bothers to chase him. He wins the Giro despite being way weaker than any of the other contenders.
Is the peloton trying to re-enact 2004 or something?

baseballlover312 I never looked at the stars anyway But hey it's nice to be a DS after years of hard work
Now to the stage, just switched on and should be a good one. Rabottini impresses so far.

I think I called this, somewhere.
But I still think he will be pulled back enough, Liqui look strong.

Rabottini is very impressive. I wonder how he keeps the gap all by himself.

Ulissi is hilarious. Best domestique for Basso today so far.

Sporza mentioned the group Cavendish is in danger of missing out on the time limit. They're currently about 30 minutes down and the time limit has been calculated to be around 24-25 minutes.

I think it's 45 minutes, so it will touch and go. They need Rabotini to blow up.

I thought yesterday was boring, but this is almost worse.
Lampre's tactic is weird. Why not sacrifice Ulissi on this climb to stretch out the gap? Cunego would gain way more time that way.
Also, as I expected the favourites aren't interested in the stage win.

Nope, but kudos to him for trying.

Cipollini did it several times.
Then again Cipollini once finished 11th in a mountain time trial, so not exactly comparable riders.
Either way he tried, so he can't be faulted, unlike Baby Frank.

There are 32kms to go. No leader is ever going to go that far out.
The gap is coming down and I think Rabottini will be caught on the final climb.

Ulissi is fucking retarded. Or something worse. If I was Cunego I'd be extremely mad.

This is why Grand Tours need way more TT kilometers:
Everyone is close together = Everyone has a lot to lose = Nobody attacks

Why do you keep bashing F. Schleck (besides the fact that bashing a Schleck is always fun)? I mean this time, it's a rider lacking fitness since he entered the line-up for the race about a week before it, lacking motivation and who crashed and got hurt. It's not even Andy, it's Frank, who actually tries to win races other than 2 on the calendar. He did a good job yesterday, when he managed to finish with the favorites despite his shoulder pain and had already done a podium before. Stop judging him because of his brother (not that he doesn't say/do shit - but much less).

There's rumours that he didn't abandon due to injury. I've read that he simply can't be bothered finishing the race because he wants to prepare for the Tour, and made up that shoulder injury just to have a reason for it.
Not saying that this has to be true though.
