How to create a Jersey

You just need to download the attachment of the post (by clicking on it). KenL's pictures were deleted from PhotoBucket so they don't appear, but all his attached stuff are still there, which is great  (while if they were hosted in some sort of site they would most likely be offline by now).

Yes i did that  . But when i try to open file says there is an error and after it finishes downloading. It opens in a word pad form which i am pretty sure that is not right lol. Do i have to unzip it or something. I see that the file is a RAR. So do i need a program that works with RAR files?? I have 7zip which i thinks is okay. But even then it still said there is an error. |

Yes, you need to extract the file. Well here's each file hosted separately, so you don't need to extract or anything:

Nvm i will just start over, should be much easier this time  . I can just add sponsors off of like google images?? And in the Example you sent me wht is up with the girls on the side of the jerseys???. Is that a sponsors spot?? or is it just a space filler. Cuz in the last slide the girls are no where on the jersey from wht i can see. And for that last slide i don't need that do i?? Main purpose for that was just to show the end product correct?? |

I created the jersey using the templates you gave me. And it still did not work  . I don't know what else to do. I am going to call it a night and give it another go Tom. Please stay patient with me and we can figure this out. Sorry for being such a pain .

The girls are only the background used by the creator, KenL. Normally the shirtmakers have a background to make the file look cooler and also for recognition of who made the jersey.
The real jersey file is only what you see in the template/plis (the white jersey with all the wrinkles). The grey part in the left of the template is the front of the jersey, the blue and yellow below are the front of the shorts. The yellow part on the right is the back of the shirt, while the light blue and orange, the back of the shorts. There are also the sleeves, and the green parts which are the sides of the jersey.
Anyway there's nothing wrong with the jersey file, so your error must be implementing it into the game. If you want to make sure the problem is not in the jersey, you can always replace it for another's team jersey and test it in game.

Wow i thought the blue would have been darker i will have to change the color then. But i am positive that i am putting it in the game right I knw you sent me a link on how to implement it into the game is there another link by chance??

Are you suppose to keep the original jersey?? Cuz i have saved over it. But then that just seems to me the more reason the original jersey should not be showing up. |

Only step that i am not doing is the creating the team. I already have the team created. So I go to database click on jersey find the Custom jersey i saved to click tht. Then click edit create database. Then i go check it in the game and it still does not work. I am doing a simple stage race to check to make sure my jersey is working. I understand that on the loading screen it is still going to have the original shirt. But even then i wait for game to load. Have one of my riders go on the attack so i can see clearly. And then still nothing same original jersey :/ |

Maybe you're placing the jersey in the wrong folder. Open your DB/savegame, go to DYN_team, find your team and see what is written in jersey_sz_abbreviation. That's the folder you need to place the jersey (on Program Files/Cayanide/PCM 10/CM_textures/cycliste/team/team folder).

Okay when i click on the jersey it takes me to a different file location than wht is in the link you sent me and different spot as u mention. wht see is GUI team_shirt then under that is Mini malliots. These are dds files tho is this where i need to be saving my jersey??? Because i have been saving my jersey to the same address you mention. And i do not seem my created team abbrev |
