Stage 17 : Ponferrada - Zamora 186 km
km 20 : Alto del Acebo - 1°
This is the last stage for sprinters. Same stage than in 2008 by the way.
Stage 18 : Salamanca - Avila 162 km
km 106: Puerto de Las Fuentes - 2°
km 146: Alto de Muñopepe - 3°
The breakaway should benefit from the hilly profile. The leaders will try to take a last rest before the last week-end : saturday in the mountain and sunday for the final timetrial. |

Thanks
Here are the last stages :
Stage 19 : Avila - Navaluenga 137 km
km 19 : Puerto de Navalmoral - 2°
km 59 : Collado de Serranillos - 2°
km 114: Puerto de Mijares - 1°
Last mountain stage. Not the toughest one but after three difficult weeks time differences are expected.
Stage 20 : Alorcon - Madrid ITT 32.6 km
Last stage of this Vuelta, a timetrial around Madrid. Recuperation will be as important as TT skills.
Full pack (stage + descr + DB) asap. |

Final presentation
Vuelta a España by Svam
I've copied tsmoha's presentation because it's so perfect
Vuelta by Svam - Fullpack
The fullpack contains all the stage, the descr file, the profiles and a DB to play it in Tour mode.
Vuelta by Svam - Lightpack
The lightpack contains the same except the stages. It's for people who have already downloaded the stages. Only the 14th stage to La Farrapona should be downloaded again. I fixed a little error : they were 3 sprints instead of 2
Enjoy the game |

I really like the route of your Vuelta! Very good work with the single stages, the slopes and the presentation I think, your map looks better than mine And now I'm in trouble wether to play my own or your variant first.. anyway: thanks for the great work!

Do not worry about that, that's the style of the official website presentation of the stages (although it also has the dates):

Nice Vuelta and nice presentation. I also like the idea of the lightpack, seems interesting. Also liked the fact you've included a DB with the Vuelta ready to play. Congrats

About 2014 WC, I finally find the real route. It's basically the same than mine but turning in th other side (the less interesting for me). I will update my route asap |

As promised real 2014 WC
World Championships : Ponferrada 2014 - 260km
Basically, the same circuit except one turns in the other direction. Three hills : : the Castillo de los Templaros (300m at 6%) in the city-center, then the Alto de Montearenas (5.4 km at 3.1%) and finally the Alto de Compostilla (1.1km at 5.8%). At the bottom of the last downhill, it remains one kilometer ! |

Here is a fantasy classic taking place in my homeland in Normandy
Tour du Cotentin : Cherbourg-Cherbourg - 234km
Twenty-two hills are programmed, so this classic looks like a new Amstel.
