Indeed. Sadly it doesn't say (or did I miss it ?) when the facts occurred.
Not such a big surprise though, if Italian authorities convinced me of their will to fight doping, I don't really trust Lampre riders or most Italian top riders... |

In other words, Chicken and the entire Lampre squad of the last few years minus Petacchi

Rasmussen's home in Italy is near Mantova and he said that he knows Guido Nigrelli's pharmacy, using it for his family's needs.

I'm relieved about the Lampre news.
The whole 'doping free' thing was the biggest joke of the last few years. |

Say I tended to believe Cunego had really quitted doping (heavy doping) since he has had that tattoo. Damn it, I'm so gullible at times... |

Via his manager, Rasmussen said that he had been questioned by the Italian police about this case last year.
"So while it's new to the public, there's nothing new in this for us. There's no drama. Michael Rasmussen has our support," Claus Hembo says. |

i hope so, my bet on Pozzato at RvV might just be worth it... although he didn't finish the race (both RvV and PR) |

Freire has today announced that he will not be riding the your de France as the team wants to give everything for the GC of Gesink. But more fun are his other statements about the tour:
The tour is the most boring race of the year. In the flat stages you have a break-away and a sprint. In a mountain stage it are always the same riders that ride ahead.
It would be great if the classics were ridden during the summer. The tour mainly gets a lot of attention because there is nothing else happening in sports

Of course, Rabo is getting only helpers for the best GC of their best stage racer on the most boring race of the year (ironic)

It's a caricature, but he makes sense. Although I'm not sure whether he's bitter to not be there, or if it's a relief for him.
He's not strong enough to match Cavendish or his likes in sprints, and other stages don't fit him too much (there are little to none hilly/smaller mountain stages in TDF), so I don't see a reason why he should waste his form being in France in July. |

as i saw his sprints in both the tour and vuelta last year, it's good he doesn't go, as he doesn't sprint anyway if he doesn't feel good |

Maybe, if CONI can prove it.
But until then he would be free to ride, like Contador atm. |

He was fired from Vacansoleil, I doubt any PT would be that stupid to take him.
