Good podium, but it's like tsmoha said.
It was a nice race for Caja Rural, with Pimienta getting a Top 10 overall and 2 podiums =)

Vuelta a Mallorca: February 6-10
The peloton, which had either been in Australia, Argentina, or inactive in January, now returns to Europe. The Spanish season opens up on the tiny Mediterranean island of Mallorca for the Vuelta a Mallorca, a five day race that will highlight the entire island's terrain.
The race is used mainly as preparation for the long season ahead, but should still some good action from the smaller teams, looking to make a name for themselves. Given the small size of the island, the race only covered a little over 725km.
Stage 1: Palma - Palma: 113.1km
Stage 2: Cala Millor - Cala Millor: 172.1km
Stage 3: Inca - Inca: 147.9km
Stage 4: Deia - Deia: 136.6km
Stage 5: Magalluf - Palmanova: 156.0km
Caja Rural:
111. Aitor Galdos 112. Victor De la Parte 113. Higinio Fernández 114. Egoitz Garcia 115. Ruben Martínez 116. Diego Milán 117. Javier Moreno 118. Julián Sánchez Pimienta
For most teams this race is not important, but Caja Rural's title sponsors have attached significant importance to it. They expect a Top 10 finish. Hoping to achieve this result, the team has brought its best general classification rider, Javier Moreno.
Moreno, a new recruit to the team, will make his debut in Mallorca. This will be the first time, of many, that the team will rely on the punchy rider to get a result. Having raced on these routes before, and spent nearly all of his career in Spain, the team hopes his familiarity with the terrain will work to his advantage.
His chief lieutenant will be Tour de San Luis leader, Julián Sánchez Pimienta. Sánchez Pimienta, who is in good shape for the early season, likely does not have the required strength to gain the result needed here, but will be a valuable asset to Moreno in the steep hills in the latter portions of the race.
Lastly, making his season debut is the team's best sprinter, Aitor Galdos. The rugged parcours of the race should suit Galdos, who will find himself going against many of the peloton's best sprinters. The team is not expecting anything major from Galdos here, who is using the race mostly to gain fitness.

Favorites:
The startlist is very strong on paper, with some of the biggest names in cycling participating. However, for most this is their first race of the season, and with their goals far away, fitness is likely not high.
In addition to the GC crowd, the startlist has sprinters Mark Cavendish (HTC - Highroad), André Greipel (Omega Pharma - Lotto), Tyler Farrar (Team Garmin - Cervélo), José Joaquín Rojas (Team Movistar), Óscar Freire (Rabobank), and Koldo Fernández (Euskaltel - Euskadi).
21. Denis Menchov Geox - TMC
"The Silent Assassin" will begin his season on the resort island of Mallorca. Moving to the Geox - TMC team, Menchov will be looking to build off a strong 2010 season, which saw him podium in Le Tour de France. Speculation is that Menchov is working towards the Giro d'Italia in May.
1. Igor Antón Euskaltel - Euskadi
Antón captured the cycling world with his amazing riding in last years Vuelta a España, before crashing out. Emerging a bit from the large shadow of teammate Samuel Sánchez, Antón will be motivated to continue his growth. The top Spanish contender could leave the peloton behind on the steep climbs.
38. Luis León Sánchez Rabobank
The Vuelta a Mallorca is exactly the type of race Luis León Sánchez excels at. Not a grand tour threat, Lulu's palmarès are full of similar week-long races, including the 2007 version of this one. Leaving the defunct Caisse d'Epargne (now Team Movistar) team for the Dutch Rabobank one, Sánchez will be hoping to impress his new team.
11. Philippe Gilbert Omega Pharma - Lotto
Perhaps rating Gilbert a one-star favorite is a bit unjust. The 2008 winner, Gilbert is the preeminent puncheur in the peloton. With no real mountains on the course, Gilbert may be able to launch some of his typical late attacks, separating himself from the field. If timed right, it is unlikely anyone can go with him.
61. Levi Leipheimer Team RadioShack
With the retirement of Lance Armstrong, the weight of responsibility at Team RadioShack now falls directly on the shoulders of another late-30s American rider. Leipheimer will be expected to get the results this season, and he could start in Spain.
51. Roman Kreuziger Pro Team Astana
Low on the pecking order at Liquigas, Kreuziger moved to Pro Team Astana, replacing the very large (or small depending on how you look at it) shoes of Alberto Contador. The young Czech rider hasn't progressed as fast as some had hoped, but still only 24, the change in team may be exactly what he needs to join the ranks of other talented youngsters Andy Schleck and Vincenzo Nibali.

Dude, your races presentations are so awesome, love reading them, congrats
But I'm sure Caja Rural numbers on the startlist in the spoiler (111, 112, 113) are different from the ones under the stage (121, 122, 133)
Good luck for it, hopefully you can get your Top 10 goal =) Btw, very strong sprinters startlist =O

Thanks a lot.
And whoops! I copied the list from the Tour de San Luis and changed the names and flags, but not the numbers. Now fixed.
Top 10 is going to be very hard I think. My riders should have more fitness than the top riders though.

Sorry, more travel.
Vuelta a Mallorca: Stage 1: Palma - Palma: 113.1km
The first stage in the Vuelta a Mallorca takes place in and around the streets of Palma, capital city of the Balearic Islands. The peloton will partake in a circuit course. There are some hills over the route, but nothing that should trouble anyone.
Even with no mountain points up for grab, many riders wanted to take part in a breakaway move. Caja Rural would not be surprised and sent Higinio Fernández in the move. The other riders were many from smaller team. They were Alejandro Marque (Onda), Bjorn Selander (Team RadioShack), Jose Cano (Andalucía Caja Granada), Daniele Colli (Geox - TMC), Ricardo Mestre (Tavira - Pino), Matteo Montaguti (AG2R La Mondiale), Hugo Sancho (LA - Antarte), Camilo Suárez (Colombia es Pasión - Café de Colombia), Diego Gallego (Burgos 2016 - Castilla y León), Olivier Kaisen (Omega Pharma - Lotto), Kevyn Ista (Cofidis, le crédit en ligne), Raúl Alarcón (Barbot - Efapel), and José Luis Roldán (Andalucía Caja Granada).
The breakaway moves through the city streets.
Despite the large group, there was little drama. The cat and mouse game between the peloton and the break ended with 14km left on the day. A mass sprint would decide the day.
Caja Rural's main sprinter, Aitor Galdos, had teammates Diego Milán and Egoitz García to help set him up. García was responsible for bringing him up near the front before the sprint. Milán was supposed to lead him out. García did his job well, but in the confusion, Galdos lost Milán's wheel. He was alone as the sprint opened.
The situation with the sprint beginning. Galdos is on the wheel of Koldo Fernández (Euskaltel- Euskadi).
Under the flamme rouge, the elite sprinters had separated themselves from the field. Galdos was looking good, having passed Fernández. He was trying to get up to the wheel of Mirco Lorenzetto (Pro Team Astana).
The action heats up in the last kilometer.
However he did not have the strength to close the gap.
Galdos finished in 6th, ahead of the likes of Mark Cavendish (HTC - Columbia) and Tyler Farrar (Team Garmin - Cervélo).
As the riders neared the line, Lorenzetto was neck and neck with José Joaquín Rojas (Movistar Team) and Kristof Goddaert (AG2R La Mondiale). Additionally, André Greipel (Omega Pharma - Lotto), was trying to move around everyone.
Having led the entire straight, Lorenzetto was able to did just deep enough to inch ahead of Rojas and Goddaert to take the win. A photo finish.
Lorenzetto takes a very narrow win.

Vuelta a Mallorca: Stage 2: Cala Millor - Cala - Millor: 172.1km
Day 2, and another sprint finish should be in store for the spectators. The tourist destination of Cala Millor on the coast of Mallorca will serve as the backdrop for the action.
The fight for the breakaway was tame and 8 riders were involved in the move. As was seen yesterday, most the riders were from the smaller continental teams. Xavier Florencio (Geox - TMC), Fumiyuki Beppu (Team RadioShack), David Belda (Burgos 2016 - Castilla y León), Luis Felipe Laverde (Colombia es Pasión - Café de Colombia), Romain Zingle (Cofidis, le crédit en ligne), Juan José Lobato (Andalucía Caja Granada), Tomas Swift Metcalfe (Tavira - Prio), and Sérgio Ribeiro (Barbot - Efapel) made up the break.
The break of the day.
Beppu was the only rider aggressively chasing mountain sprints, collecting 11 along the route. He would don the KOM jersey after the stage.
The chase was organized by Astana, who was trying to protect Mirco Lorenzetto's lead. With few other teams willing to commit riders to the effort, the Kazakh team struggled a bit. The breakaway was only caught 4km from the finish.
With a sprint finish again in store, Caja Rural did a better job organizing. Diego Milán had Aitor Galdos in his wheel as the sprint began.
When Galdos moved from Milán, he found the wheel of big German, André Greipel (Omega Pharma - Lotto). On Greipel's right was his fierce rival, Mark Cavendish (HTC - Columbia).
Galdos behind two of the big favorites.
Down the straightaway, Cavendish proved to be the better man on this day. As Greipel faded a bit, finishing in 5th, Cavendish maintained his speed and held off challenges from Kristof Goddaert (AG2R La Mondiale), Lorenzetto, and Tyler Farrar (Team Garmin - Cervélo).
Like Greipel, Galdos faded a bit, not able to maintain his effort for such a long distance. He again finished in 6th.
Cavendish makes up for a poor day yesterday, winning Stage 2.

In this thread theres a fix for the Omega bikes.
I'd say that was a fantastic 6th if you look at who's ahead of Galdos.

Thanks. I was going to just say the bikes fell into black paint or something.

Like that old Astana Bug from PCM08 and possibly 09.

Vuelta a Mallorca: Stage 3: Inca - Inca: 147.9km
The first half of Stage 3 is very flat and should see no action. However, the second half includes two climbs, the Coll de Soller and the Coll de Puig Major. The latter, is the highest point on the island of Mallorca. The GC contenders will make themselves known today.
Entering the race, Caja Rural had designated Javier Moreno and Julián Sánchez Pimienta as they co-captains. Given that Sánchez Pimienta already has some race days in his legs, he was looking stronger over the first two stages. Seeing this, the team wanted to leave Sánchez Pimienta in the peloton with the other contenders and send Moreno in the break.
The peloton was reluctant to let the break go, but eventually Moreno made the move with 8 other riders. The breakaway was composed of Moreno, Luis Ángel Maté (Cofidis, le crédit en ligne), Lars Ytting Bak (HTC - Highroad), Manuel Ortega (Andalucía Caja Granada), Marcel Wyss (Geox - TMC), Tomas Swift Metcalfe (Tavira - Prio), Óscar Vicente Grau (Burgos 2016 - Castilla y León), Alejandro Marque (Onda), and Murilo Fischer (Team Garmin - Cervélo).
The breakaway works together to build a lead.
The breakaway had to work hard to build up a lead. Their lead reached its maximum at the second sprint point, 69km into the day. They were only 4'20 ahead of the field.
Astana was keeping the pace of the peloton high. They were not protecting race leader's Mirco Lorenzetto's interests, but setting the race up for Roman Kreuziger.
On the slopes of the Coll de Soller, Moreno tried to push the pace of the breakaway, but with the peloton closing in, few of his companions helped.
The break went over the top with a lead of just 1'03.
On the Coll de Puig Major, Moreno upped his pace even more. It was a futile effort with the peloton so close.
Nevertheless, Marque and Metcalfe followed his pace.
Moreno, Marque, and Metcalfe lead the race on the early slopes of Puig Major.
Behind them, Astana kept pushing the pace. An attack from Kreuziger seemed imminent.
The Astana domestiques worked very hard today.
As Astana closed in on Moreno, who had moved clear of Marque and Metcalfe, the Caja Rural rider launched a desperate, foolhardy, attack.
Moreno fights to stay away.
Predictably, a kilometer after his attack, Moreno was brought back into the fold.
With the breakaway riders all arrested, attacks started to come.
The first to leave was Vasil Kiryienka (Movistar Team).
Kiryienka goes on the left.
Following his attack was Ryder Hesjedal (Team Garmin - Cervélo) and Juan José Oroz (Euskaltel - Euskadi).
Hesjedal and Oroz chase after the Belorussian.
Kiryienka stayed just ahead of the field over the top, but the gap would not be big enough to maintain.
On the descent, a group containing most of the favorites formed. Moreno and Sánchez Pimienta were present for Caja Rural.
The leading group with 30km to the finish.
There were several riders who did not make the group. The biggest name to miss out was Igor Antón (Euskaltel - Euskadi). One of the pre-race favorites, Antón had been riding towards the back of the group the entire day and was caught out.
Antón in a small chase group with the leaders up the road.
The chase group did not have the strength to claw their way back. They finished 1'23 down on the leading group, valuable time lost.
No major attacks came from the leading group on the way to the finish back in Inca. All of the riders seemed content to finish together with two stages left.
The presence of José Joaquín Rojas (Movistar Team) made the finish an afterthought. The tough sprinter easily took the stage win, multiple bike lengths ahead of John Gadret (AG2R La Mondiale), the second place finisher.
Rojas was now the new race leader.
Sánchez Pimienta and Moreno finished at the same time as Rojas in 18th and 20th respectively. Due to bonus seconds picked up while in the break, Moreno moved into 4th in the general classification.
Rojas easily took the third stage.

No time loss, that's enough for a nice stage. The last climb is too early to gain on time on the others. Wanna see how they'll do in tomorrow's stage, where there is a climb very near the finish.

Vuelta a Mallorca: Stage 4: Deia - Deia: 136.6km
The fourth stage of the Vuelta a Mallorca will follow a similar pattern to yesterday. A rather flat first half followed by lots of climbing. Additionally, the peloton will again be tackling the Coll de Puig Major, this time, coming from the north. The short Coll d'en Bleda positioned 5km from the line could be decisive.
Not many riders wanted to venture into the day's break. Only 6 riders were bold enough. They were Kevyn Ista (Cofidis, le crédit en ligne), José Luis Roldán (Andalucía Caja Granada), Bjorn Selander (Team RadioShack), Murilo Fischer (Team Garmin - Cervélo), Raúl Alarcón (Barbot - Efapel), and Nairo Quintana (Colombia es Pasión - Café de Colombia). 5 of these riders had already ridden in a break during the race; Fischer, took part in yesterday's failed effort.
Most of the breakaway riders give it a second try.
The breakaway built up a healthy lead, growing their advantage to 6'19 by the beginning of the Coll de Femenies. This climb signaled the beginning of the some serious climbing.
Near its summit, Martin Elmiger (AG2R La Mondiale), attacked the peloton.
Elmiger used the Coll de Femenies to launch his attack.
Behind him, two riders followed his attack. They were Igor Antón (Euskaltel - Euskadi) and Tony Martin (HTC - Highroad). Antón had lost time on his rivals yesterday over the Coll de Puig Major. While the attack seemed to concern all, no real effort was made to close it down. Antón was off.
Antón and Martin follow Elmiger's lead.
On the foothills of Puig Major, Antón and Martin caught and dropped Elmiger. The effort was too much for the Swiss. Pain was all over Martin's face as he did all he could to hang onto Antón's wheel.
Antón charges up Puig Major with Martin barely on his wheel.
Antón's pace was very high, and in the peloton, Movistar was riding at a fast tempo, hoping to keep him within their sights.
Up the road, Antón, with Martin still hanging on, had caught the breakaway.
Antón comes up on the breakaway with still more climbing left.
Antón used this time to get some water from the team car before pushing on. Only Martin and Roldán could follow.
Antón blazes up the climb.
Over the top the three leaders went. Behind them was only the ever shrinking peloton. Caja Rural was in great shape with Javier Moreno and Julián Sánchez Pimienta in the fold.
Andriy Grivko and Robert Kiserlovski were now leading the descent in the service of Roman Kreuziger and Astana.
Kiserlovski leads the peloton down the Coll de Puig Major.
On the descent, Antón had finally shaken Martin and Roldán. He was now on his own against the peloton. He had 15km and the Coll d'en Bleda between him and victory.
He reached the final climb only 24" ahead of the field, which was now around 20 riders. Sensing they were closing in, Antón kicked again.
Antón shows remarkable strength, and launches another attack.
With time running out, riders from the chase group started attacking, hoping to get up to Antón. Vasil Kiryienka (Movistar Team) was the first to go.
Kiryienka's attack failed yesterday. He goes again today.
Behind him were three big favorites, Kreuziger, Denis Menchov (Geox - TMC), and Ryder Hesjedal (Team Garmin - Cervélo).
The favorites came out to play today.
One more rider left the peloton. It was Juan José Oroz (Euskaltel - Euskadi). Oroz was attempting to get up to Antón to aid his team leader.
Oroz working hard in service of his team.
All 5 riders would get up to Antón just before the end of the climb. The elite group had only a small descent back into Deia to finish the stage.
Behind them, a chase group of 17, lead by Movistar was trying to reel them back. Amazingly, in the chase group was race leader, and sprinter, José Joaquín Rojas (Movistar Team).
The leading six on the road with only a few kilometers.
Being caught after a heroic ride seemed harsh, but Antón could find some consolation with the stage victory. He bid his time well in the back of the group, and launched his sprint, and passed Kreuziger 150m before the finish. A very deserved win.
The chase group came in, what appeared to be some 30 seconds after, but was awarded the same time by the race officials.
Thanks to this fortuitous decision, Moreno remained in 4th overall and Sánchez Pimienta moved into 13th.
Antón wins the day after a great ride.

Vuelta a Mallorca: Stage 5: Magalluf - Palmaova: 156.0km
The last stage is up and down the whole way. None of the climbs are tough enough to harm the major contenders. With the last climb, the Coll des Tords, being very gentle, it will take an extraordinary effort to dislodge anyone. José Joaquín Rojas' (Movistar Team) superb ride yesterday showed he can handle this terrain.
10 riders moved clear in the opening kilometers. They were Nairo Quintana (Colombia es Pasión - Café de Colombia), Sep Vanmarcke (Team Garmin - Cervélo), Leonardo Duque (Cofidis, le crédit en ligne), Levi Leipheimer (Team RadioShack), David Le Lay (AG2R La Mondiale), Adrián Palomares (Andalucía Caja Granada), Sérgio Ribeiro (Barbot - Efapel), John Degenkolb (HTC - Highroad), Jan Ghyselinck (HTC - Highroad), and Diego Gallego (Burgos 2016 - Castilla y León).
Leipheimer was the big name in the group, but he entered the last day in 61st, 7'53 down. Being no threat, he was allowed to escape.
The break on the coast of Mallorca.
The break moved over the undulating terrain.
By the third KOM point on the Coll de Soller, Degenkolb and Ribeiro had been dropped. The remaining 8 riders were 4'33 ahead of the peloton.
The spectators were all over the hills, cheering on the riders.
The Coll de Claret, the fourth out of five climbs, saw Leipheimer, Duque, and Vanmarcke move ahead of the remaining breakaway riders.
Leipheimer leads Vanmarcke and Duque on.
The three riders started the descent with a lead of 2'44 over the peloton.
The main field had shrunk to 44 riders, but no one important had been dropped. This included Javier Moreno and Julián Sánchez Pimienta for Caja Rural.
Leipheimer, not surprisingly, was clearly not in shape yet, and didn't have the strength to hold of the peloton on the flat leading to the Coll des Tords.
The peloton arrived at the climb intact. Anyone wanting to wrest the title from Rojas would have to make their move here.
Clearly Denis Menchov (Geox - TMC) shared this feeling. He attacked.
Menchov goes for glory.
Behind him, Roman Kreuziger (Pro Team Astana) and Philippe Gilbert (Omega Pharma - Lotto) followed.
Kreuziger and Gilbert pass a Cofidis rider and chase Menchov.
The three came together ahead of the peloton with 10km left on the day. Their lead was only 22 seconds.
It was not enough, and they were easily wrapped up during the run-in. A sprint from this medium-sized group would determine the day. Barring disaster, Rojas would take the overall title.
Caja Rural had Aitor Galdos and Diego Milán present, but both were absolutely empty from keeping up with the lead group. They did not take part in the sprint.
Many seemed to be tired, and when the sprint opened up, it looked like it was going to be dominated by Astana.
Three Astana riders, with Kreuziger over their shoulder, go for glory.
However, the Astana riders could not compete with veteran Óscar Freire (Rabobank Cycling Team). Freire jumped from their slipstream with 500m to go and crossed the line first, opening his season's win account.
Astana did take 5 of the Top 10 placings.
Rojas finished in 11th, securing the title.
Moreno finished in 39th, on the same time. Due to Menchov's 2nd place, he slipped down to finish 5th in the general classification. A great result, and one that greatly pleased our sponsors.
Sánchez Pimienta continued the good start to the season, ending up in 13th overall.
Freire crosses the line first for the win.
