I have MS Office.
But I read somewhere that you can also read it with OpenOffice if you rename the xls to xlm or something like this. |

Even if I rename it, it is still a xls-file.
Edit: figured it out

Stage 2:
Interesting stage which is most likely to end in a sprint in a smaller group. We hope that Nordhaug can hang on, and maybe win the sprint.
Favorites:
- Lorenzetto
- Nordhaug
- Bole
Break away:
- Fothen
- Proni
- Strgar
- Bacon
- Duclos-Lassalle
- Oliveira
With 125 kms to go we start chasing the break away, which is 9 minutes ahead.
The last hill is starting, and we are 2 minutes behind. Rake and Haavardsholm is doing a great job catching the break.
At the top there are only 30 riders left at the front. The break away is split in two, with Bacon and Duclos-Lassalle close to being caught.
With 3.5 kms to go, Maes manages to pull Van Dousselaere away from the group.
Haavardsholm chase them down, while Nordhaug is struggling a bit further back.
Lorenzetto winning in front of Van Dousselaere and Rigotto.

How do you get the jersey working? I made a folder in CM_Textures\cycliste\team called "moo" and edited the save. In "jersey_sz_abbreviation" to "moo". But the shirt still doesn't show in game. |

Nice win on stage 1
About the jersey, not sure if only this should work for the jersey. I also have a custom team and checking in the editor now, "jersey_sz_abbreviation" for the team is 'gce', and it has nothing to do with gce(there is no folder or anything like that).
What I did was overwrite the 'c00' folder. Not sure which jersey you've picked when you begun the career, but like, if it was the first one, then its c00. If it was the second, c01... and so on.
Also, make sure that all stuff in the folder are named correctly (*folder name*_maillot.tga, and so on).

It said "transparent" before I changed it to "moo", don't know what that means. I didn't change the jersey when I started the game, so I probably is the c00-folder. Will try overwriting that. |

Should I save the tga file in 24 bit or 32 bit, and do I check "compress"?
Edit: I must learn to search before I ask

- M Breschel
At 105 kms the peloton splits up, and a small group containg some of the biggest favorites are created. Gilbert, Hagen, Farrar, Nuyens and van Avermaet are some of the names.
Sky, 3 riders in the group, sets a high pace trying to keep the pack away. Hagen and Nordhaug sits comfortably at the back. With in 15 kms the group is caught.
25 kms to go, and only 2 cobbled sections left. Nordhaug is really struggling, but Boasson Hagen manages OK. The break is caught, and none of the favorites seems to want to attack.
Last cobbled sections, and we have some attacks! Haussler, Devolder and Breschel. Maaskant follows minutes later.
They get caught pretty quickly, and Boonen attacks on the counter. Maaskant follows him.
Nordhaug can barely stay in the group, and Boasson Hagen doesn't have the energy to attack.
Boonen is caught with 4.5 kms left, and it ends in a massprint.
Amazingly after his solo effort, Boonen still has the feet to do a massive sprint, and wins Omloop het Nieuwsblad. Boasson Hagen barely beats Maaskant for 3rd. Great result!

I am getting tired of crashes now. 2 tries at playing the race, and both times it crashes approx. 20 kms before the finish line. I don't bother writing 3 reports for the same race, so here's the simulated results.
Results:
1 Greg Van Avermaet Sky ProCycling 4h47'27
2 Fabian Cancellara Leopard Trek s.t.
3 Matti Breschel Rabobank Cycling Team + 23
4 Edvald Boasson Hagen Moods of Norway Pro Cycling Team s.t.
5 Heinrich Haussler Sky ProCycling + 1'12
6 Tyler Farrar Sky ProCycling s.t.
7 Coen Vermeltfoort Vacansoleil - DCM Pro Cycling Team s.t.
8 Filippo Pozzato Katusha Team s.t.
9 Stijn Devolder Vacansoleil - DCM Pro Cycling Team s.t.
10 Juan Antonio Flecha Sky ProCycling + 1'36
4th place, couldn't done better myself!
Wildcard for Milan - San Remo secured, and next up is the Tirreno - Adriatico.
