He's another case of a rider being good at something (Hilly/Ardennes) but then trying to do something else (Mountains) and becoming average at everything, a bit like Tony Martin and Rui Costa and even Geraint Thomas to an extent.
He should stick to the Ardennes type races/stages |

Yeah, he did. It's the reason he came to Sky. |

I may be wrong but I'm sure I read or heard him say he moved to Sky to develop his climbing to become a stage racer. He's a decent tt'er so he's got the potential. |

His racing schedule was clearly based around the classics this season. Maybe in the long run he wants try it but he hardly focused on gt's this year

Yup, if I recall right back when his transfer to British Postal was announced,
german Eurosport commentator said that Kiwatkowski and Lefevere had different ideas of what Kwiat should focus on. Kwiatkowski wanted to become a GT rider and apperantly Lefevere advised against it.

What a good read. Hilarious.

Or maybe it was the IS that placed it there mid race. Or aliens. Or a rift in the space-time continuum teleported it in there. We keep investigating." |

It's hardly surprising. They couldn't get a stop watch to work in the team time trial. |

It was Dutch luck which placed the pollard there.

According to Italian ES it was the organisation's team car, which makes it all the worse really.
