= press release = there's a very good chance that Cavendish never really said those words. It's made up (to a certain degree) by a PR guy.
(That being said, I like Cavendish and his attitude)
Do I want to be Cav's mate, no thanks. Do I love his heart on sleeve, speak first, think later entertaining reactions, hell yes!
Love the fact that 9 times out of 10 he can't contain how he actually feels whether that portrays him as nice guy or a total twat you know it's an unsanitised "real" emotion. Beats the "well done to the winner" interviews every time

I like how Cavendish is a winner and always shows it, but I don't like that much how he's always ready to whine when something doesn't pan out as he would've wanted. So good to hear him recognising the good effort of a rival for once.
I wouldn't precisely call it news, but I've been browsing CQ rankings a bit.
Some riders, among those who've scared a decent amount of points this year, are having their best season ever this year (just with the points scored since new year's day).
Christopher Froome
Richie Porte
Alexander Kristoff
Carlos Betancur
Mauro Santamborgio (well, well, well...)
Geraint Thomas (3rd Sky rider on the list, go figure...)
Simon Spilak
Prze... (let me copy-paste that) Przemyslaw Niemiec (normal thing at his young age... wait...)
Michal Kwiatowski
Javier Moreno
Beñat Intxausti
Some of them suspicious, some of them due other reasons.
Less suspicious to me are Kristoff, Betancur and Kwiatkowski have their breakthrough. (At a usual age). Moreno because he took most of those points Down Under. Spilak, don't know what happend to him. Though the bad weather might be a reason
Vaughters has always been a bit of a "fan", after all. On the other hand, Wiggins probably wouldn't fit into the squad. They've already got Hesjedal, Talansky and Martin for the stage races. Perhaps as a super domestique, if he'd accept losing status.

He would accept nothing.
