Machado Radioshack leader for the Giro.
I have a question for Guercilena......WHY???
Seriously...
Altough beeing portuguese, i think that Machado fits better in 1 week races than GT's. |

His programme includes a bunch of them for next year.
The problem is that he's barely developed since he was 19 other than improving his time trialling a bit recently, and his attacking instincts have been mostly curbed by the master of boredom, Johan Bruyneel.
Make Kiserlovski the leader. Or Horner. Or Monfort.

In other news, a local paper has announced that the Tour in 2014 is to go by my house, and a well known World Tour team have booked a B&B 2 mins walk away

That's great. I experienced the same in the Vuelta 2009 stage 1+2. Just was no cycling fan by then, so didn't realise how special it was

Seriously though in my area no one has any idea about cycling. Thankfully this will change due to this. There might also be a stage finish on a nearby hill, which reaches 23% and is part of my training ride. I can't wait.
Shame about the Vuelta 2009. At least you have some smaller races there, here there is Zero |

I'd love to see Monfort getting the call up. But I can't see Horner being happy with not being 100% fitness for the Tour.

It's laughable how stupid it is. I can understand that they're not sending any of the Schlecks, since they wouldn't bother showing up in form anyway, but as mentioned before - they have plenty of other good GC riders.
But I guess this means we'll see them going crazy for the extremely prestigious team classification in the Tour again!

Yeah I mean before riding for the Shack he was an interesting rider to follow, giving some antenna time from his ridiculously miscalculated attacks, but at least he was an agitator.
Now he's just one of those sub par kind of rider who you just wait for at the end of every mountain stage to see how much he can limit his losses. I hope he returns to his old self someday.

I agree that sending a Schleck is like sending... well, no one.
Though the team classification is also a very nice prize, I'd rather see them use their many talents in many different races. Monfort can ride top 5 in de Giro or the Vuelta, definitely!
Are we sure Bruyneel really left? |

It only took 2.5 years to catch a guy who was a freaking 10 on the list. Maybe another 2.5 years and they'll catch the other 10
