Interesting article with Paul Kimmage https://www.velonation.com/News/ID/123...rency.aspx, talks about his disappointment with Sky's lack of transparency and hiring of Geert Leinders, also says he was due to follow Sky throughout the 2010, but was stopped a day before when Wiggins objected to it

Understandable. Kimmage is still a swear word in some parts of the peloton. |

If you can read French, do read this by Antoine Vayer (with the calculations of Frédéric Portoleau). It's too long for translating, and full of metaphors about politics, hybrid sportscars, etc. Nonetheless, it's extremely interesting.
They're calculating Watts (on the 70+8 kg pattern), and have come to the conclusion that Wiggins did 465 W on the short climb during the time trial, Froome more than 465 on La Planche, while Wiggins and Evans averaged a little less. Same thing Sunday, when for a short while a bunch of 10 riders climbed insanely fast.
They're expecting figures around 430 W in actual mountains. They're calling that figure a heavenly miracle (and also tackle Armstrong's 450).
They also mention a couple of doping products I didn't have in mind (any more), such as TB 500. Google it.
edit : I'll translate it later today, if I find time.

So is Kimmage a fucking wanker and a cunt, or as he's talking openly, and not hidding under a pseudonym he's ok? If a journalist around there had a backbone he'd ask this to Wiggins.
Edit: TB 500 is that drug for horses Vansevenant ordered for "personal use" right?

Sutty just tell me how do you thing that it is possible for someone with this body to beat such a muscle-beast as Cancellara by almost a minute on 40 kms? Hard training right? Because Cancellara is not training at all

Brad has been an awesome time trialler on and off the road all his life, so it came as no suprise to me at all. Just because he beat Cancellara doesn't mean he should become an accused drug cheater |

I am not saying he should be because of that, i am just raising doubts about how someone can drastically lower his weight and thus improve in mountains and in the same time improve so much in TT. You know, we see on many riders how they either improve in TT but got a bit worse in mountains or vise-versa but the last two riders that were able to improve during the time in both disciplines simultaneously were Armstrong and Contador. I hope you know their history...

Bradley Wiggins was one of the best Olympians between 2000 and 2008. After Bejing, he started focusing on the road and immediately became 4th in Tour de France. No Argueing about his talents.

Totally agree with what you are saying
But he has never been a person with a lot of weight anyway and i must admit he looks totally unhealthy after losing more weight again. As for his climbing improvement, he has been up most of this years climbs already during the close season doing re-cons so maybe all that has helped (but dont quote me on that) |

But he was heavier. As a track rider, he needed to be. Beating Spartacus is no small feat remember. Has anyone seen Froome in the TT? He looked like some kind of mutated wasp on the bike, not good for time trials.
