Kreuziger speaks about his options - he says the position for negotiations of his manager is much better now after he gained top10 at Tour even when going there as luxury domestique.
He had four offers and two of these are to his liking, as he says.
Interesting part is, that he says he is not pushing into role of absolute leader, but being still young enough (30) he wants the room in some important races. So i suppose something like he had in Tinkoff. So that maybe means some really strong prime team?
Who could be those two teams? Astana, Katusha, Bora? Or something else, who knows...
again, Bora could be a fit. Astana also possible as he might get the captain role for hilly classics and could become a valuable Aru domestique...
Nibali could also need one luxury-domestique Ardennes Captain if he goes to Lampre, but after that stage 20?
Katusha would surprise me, they look like they plan on strengthening their Kristoff squad, have Alpecin rumours pointing at Tony Martin and look like building up Zakarin as their climbing captain.
Trek would also be a no-go for me there is Contador and Mollema and I´m not too sure Kreuziger would have "enough" space for him there...

Nibali has signed for Bahrain-Merida. Will be a press conference about that before Nibali goes to Rio from what i remember reading.
Kreuziger would be good fit in that team. They were talking all day yesterday.

Is even Bahrain - Merida as a team confirmed? Would be intersting to see what the likes of Costa/Ulissi would do then...
Would be strange to see a Giro peloton without Liquigas or Lampre...

The press conference will be announcement of the team+signing of Nibali as team leader I suppose.
Lampre will continue but they need to find a new sponsor to have a WT worthy budget.

IMO a pro-Continental team will take Kreuziger, where he will be the main guy and will be a good career refresher after years as Conta's lackey. Honestly I don't see him in any of the WT teams as the situation for him will be essentially the same - being domestique for someone else
If Bahrain is really taking Lampre's spot then IMO most of the Italians will be spread among Bardiani, NIPPO, Southeast and Androni. In such case Costa will very likely return to Movistar since his buddy Nelson Oliveira is there as well.

Well looking at the new structure for the WT with less teams then I can see Lampre dropping down to PCT, smaller budget and they would still get invites to all the Italian WT races at the very least

Still can't believe the Bahrain team is actually going ahead, such a terrible project and once again will show how morally bankrupt the UCI actually is

Have you seen my post? He does not insist on being an absolute leader for all year, i guss he know that his biggest value is as best GT luxury domestique there is in the peloton (next to Skybots). I think his place is in WT team for sure, as leader for Ardennes and some week long races + luxury donmestique/secondary leader in some of the biggest WT teams. Pro continental is not in play imo, that would really shock me...

In my eyes Kreuziger is too good for PCT, it wouldn´t fit with his comments as well...
could be a possibility for Costa, but with Nairo & Alejandro he won´t have the freedom he needs for what he´s capable of doing...

so Bahrain - Merida and Lampre? that sounds strange...that means all the Lampre-Merida riders stay at Lampre right?
I guess that´s not even possible with the 2 of them being WT with the shortened WT Places?

Look at Cunego and how he wanted to be in WT team - instead he went to PCT team. The same will happen to Kreuziger - he'll end up in team like Direct Energie or Southeast

Not the first time sponsors flip over really quick. Omega Pharma jumped ship from lotto to Quickstep from 2011 to 2012 and both team still existed fine. Lotto found a new secondary sponsor in Belisol though, Lampre hasn't found any as of now.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

Cunego wanted to step down to PCT level so he could study, he's doing sports science degree at Verona’s university.

am I allowed to assume Bora?
I don´t really understand Roche´s move, what os he aiming for at BMC? He´ll most likely be in his Sky role just a bid higher up the train...TVG and Porte are just better than him.
Maybe Sky just wanted to replace him with an even stronger domestique and Roche got no great other offers, but that would surprise me a little
