re: Luigi: extremely difficult because Bohemian Rhapsody is probably the best song ever written, but as a guitarist, Led Zep has to win that duel...

well for me it's easy, there is not a whole lot of LZ (I'm lazy ) that I really like as for Queen there is not a whole lot of that I don't like at all. similiar with U2 - RHCP. only like Californication of RHCP but there'd much more of U2 that I like than just one song.

So the deadline has passed. Later today I'll post a short recap of all the noticable happenings in this tournament, that post will include the results for the semi-finals. Until then I'll keep my mouth shut, the only thing I want to say is that both match-ups are very tight!

Hey guys, the semi-finals are behind us. I'll reveal the results and the two finalists later in this post, but first let me take a quick reminder of the most remarkable happenings in this contest until now:
Coldplay grabbed the most points and won the nomination round. Green Day, Eminem, AC/DC and Pink Floyd completed the top five.
Armin van Buuren is the only top ten act to get eliminated in the first round, being beaten by OneRepublic. Other shocks include Bon Jovi's early exit against the Foo Fighters, Avicii being knocked out by Mumford & Sons, and most of all Martin Garrix eliminating Metallica thanks to the Random Generator.
Also known as the 'butcher of the favourites'. Linkin Park and Pink Floyd were the only acts of the nomination round top ten to survive this round. It proved to be game over for Coldplay, Green Day, AC/DC, The Beatles, Imagine Dragons, Eminem and Muse. The Eagles knocked out Nirvana by a slim margin, while Martin Garrix once again shocked the forum while eliminating Avenged Sevenfold and making it into the final sixteen.
Pink Floyd is the only act out of the nomination round top ten to make it into the quarter-finals after beating Linkin Park. Martin Garrix’s adventure ends after a chanceless loss against Led Zeppelin. Iron Maiden getting knocked out by U2 and the Red Hot Chili Peppers eliminating The Eagles also raised some eyebrows.
Pink Floyd couldn’t take advantage of their favourite role, being beaten by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Led Zeppelin narrowly takes the win against Guns n' Roses, while Queen and U2 take a comfortably win against respectively The Doors and the Arctic Monkeys.
So here it is. The moment you've all been waiting for. Or not, I don’t know. Anyway, let’s reveal the results of the semi-finals.
Spoiler Led Zeppelin 6-8 QUEEN
U2 7-7 Red Hot Chili Peppers
Random Chooser picks RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS
So there it is. After almost three months, we have our two finalists. Voting starts tomorrow evening, until then you can prepare for the big final with the countdown to it

Good to see at least the Queen in final.
Good also that RHCP resisted, I'm beginning to hate U2 after that new partnership with Apple and that shitty new album.

why the delay between rounds? isn't not like we don't know what numbers they have made anymore at this point in the game?
just curious, not telling you how to hold your game ofcourse. did that once and kinda regretted it

That's due to a lack of time on my side. Yesterday I simply hadn't enough time to already start the final
