So apparently Majka had bad legs today..
He came with Nibali and was 8th at todays Stage and he attacked a few times. What do u mean???
Right before the last climb he told Dan Frost that he didn't feel very well. So if he had bad legs today, well I want to see him with "good legs".

Wow, good one... rly.... not... Whats with the dutch people and Gesink? is he holy? like India with the cows?
I'm Dutch and I don't like Gesink at all. I am more in favour of riders from other countries (Italy in particular) but in Holland (especially our cyclist commentators) are praising Gesink.
praising? Maybe those idiots ducrot and dijkstra. Every other press guy in the Netherlans has been burning down Gesink for everything of bad luck he has since 2009. Like it's his own fault for fallin, breaking his leg and therefore sucking as a result.
It IS his own fault, as he cant handle the bike.
Of course he had some bad luck also, but good bike handlers does not have so much "bad luck".

Majka and Betencourt are having a really nice battle, just behind the top five. In fact with them, the Lampre's, Uran and the wheelsucker reborn Evans, they are proving a headache for Astana.
Astana though do have the excellent Kangert who like Majka is having a real breakthrough grand tour for me. Aru looks back to his best also.
Today I think a more sizeable group comes home, possibly one for a break unless we see dumb GC 11th to 20 th posturing, still cannot believe Katusha and RadioShack did that yesterday! Too tough for Cav I think.

Nice win for Inxausti after dropping off the Maglia Rosa a very nice back to back win from Team Movistar. I like Betancourt most, so I hope we will win the Young Jersey.

Seems a bit harsh, if he could attack and win the Giro, he probably would. |

Couldn't agree more. Fight for white is probably a better logo for the Giro than fight for pink |

Mattia Gavazzi is out of the race because he stayered too much. Bit harsh I think as there were images of almost all riders holding cars to get up the Jafferau.

Several riders were presumably warned for it, but Gavazzi repeatedly did it, and not just on his own team car either.

Giro has a good history though of Italian sprinters getting 'helped' to the finish.
Pozzato will normally win today.

Stage 19 and 20 in danger du to bad weather and temperatures under 0. Organizers looking for an alternate route.
Seems like Nibali now have Pink for sure. |

RCS wants to keep it but may be forced to finish earlier in the climb, like the Galibier.

Hey, it was a joke and I mean with the "GO f**k yourself" comment this actually worked based on what Ruben said.

I'm starting to be more and more a fan of vuelta giro swap , but knowing italy weather in september since i lived there for a bit , its rainy and windy , but probably not that much snow like because of the summer melting.

Eurosport Germany, you sick fuckers.
I've been away yesterday, so I recorded their late-night replay to watch it now.
They start at ~50k to go and everything is fine.
25k to go.
Commercials.
14k to go.
THE WHOLE CLIMB IS GONE!!!

So can anyone give me a rather lenghty summary of what happened on that climb? I see carnage, but I have no idea why.

Duarte attacks early. Peloton still calm, Rosa goes then Scarponi goes. All important riders follow except Kiserlovsk, Pozzovivo, Santambrogio and Trofimov. Duarte and Pirazzi (who was in the early break) get caught right under the top as Kangert paces the favourites group up the climb.
Betancur attacks with about 700 metres to the top. Gets a small gap which is closed in the descent by first Sanchez and later Nibali/Scarponi
