Big news regarding Radioshack, the company CEO is stepping down, and as a result it is expected that their sponsorship of the cycling team will not be renewed. |

Awesome!
Maybe Giau-Tre Cime as the two final climbs?

That's what's rumoured.
With Fedaia as well, although using the easy side.

Well, I prefer a world champion that rides the next year, instead of 1 that retires.....
But still a fantastic career for Freire, so a big thank you!
If he'd won thoguh he'd stay another 1 or 2 years

Next year's Amstel Gold Race may finish on the same place as the worlds.
I really, really hope that wont happen.

Yeah I was outraged as soon as I read it. I really love the Cauberg as a climb because both puncheurs and hill sprinters can win on it. In fact because of that it has more potential winners than any of the other major Ardennes classics.

I like it. With the race finishing in the Cauberg, it's quite predictable, and only strong uphill sprinters can win there. Now, another riders could be able to win (too late for Freire sadly, but riders like him, for instance), and it'll make the last part of the race a bit less predictable I hope.

Wout Poels is back for training.
He hopes to be back in races in early 2013. His main goal is supposed to be the Tour de France then. |

Wiggins doing Giro - Vuelta double in 2013 ?
It's definitely possible. Would also be practical with Sky trying to win all 3 GT's in one year, however likely/ unlikely that is.

I think it's very likely they'll go for all three, with one of Froome/Wiggo targeting the Tour, and the other trying for the double.
Then all they need is for Joe D to win the white jersey, Uran and Henao to split the Ardennes classics, and EBH to win MSR, RVV, and P-R, and they'll live up to expectations. Should be a breeze |

That's what he's been saying since the Tour
The preceding post is ISSO 9001 certified
"I love him, I think he's great. He's transformed the sport in so many ways. Every person in cycling has benefitted from Lance Armstrong, perhaps not financially but in some sense" - Bradley Wiggins on Lance Armstrong

Véranda - Rideau U will fold at the end of the season. Bad relationships between the sponsor and the team manager are causing that.
Only Justin Jules has signed with La Pomme Marseille so far. |

Movistar changed their jerseys for the Tour of Beijing, and added some Chinese (I think) sponsors)

There was no way it was going to get renewed after it ran out, but they still have one year left, right? Does this mean they're going to try to back out early? |

Vanmarcke is definately going to Rabo. It became very evident today after he crashed in the Circuit Franco-Belge and broke his collarbone. |
