Stage looks great, and the screens, amazing. Great job!
(though I must say the .png images took quite some time to load )
Sorry for that, I'll try to include a few less in future stages

Placing a lot of IBs around the route

Loving that screen! And nice to see the borders. I guess this will definitely upgrade your stages once again

Thanks again. Also like that particular screen. I should probably use the skilift IB more than I do, because it looks fairly good.
Will continue working and upload whenever I finish a stage. Will likely be slowly like now however, as exam period is coming up soon.

Small update with a thing I've been working on in the last few days. Working with the '09 Giro stages behind the curtains as well, but it takes a lot of time due to all the isolated objects.
Anyway, I've also started this year's Pais Vasco. Decided to start with the closing time trial for a change, and I'm quite satisfied with the look of it.
Quite a hilly parcours, with three climbs that are all fairly difficult. The same climbs are also included in stage 5. After warming up with Alto de Liernia and Alto de Zerain, at 6% and 7,5% respectively, the route tackles the absolute killer climb up to Olaberria, with parts of up to 12%.

The village of Zerain, with the intermediate checkpoint.
Beasain, including both start and finish.
Hope you're happy with the reduced loading time, lluuiiggii

I've only been able to touch the stage editor quickly now and then, but after around a month of work I'm finally done with the next stage from the 2009 Giro. Quite satisfied with the result, as I've put down a lot of work into the graphics.
The IB cities now also include borders at the side of the road, thanks to a great tip from tsmoha in another thread.

Looks very nice And great to know you'll be doing this year's Pais Vasco as well. I guess it's a pain to do stages in Pais Vasco (and IB cities as well) there's so many hills So it's probably harder to do stages with good gameplay, but it doesn't look like this is any problem to you

Well, jpeg would perhaps be better... just kidding

The hills are indeed a big obstacle in terms of creating decent looking cities. There's basically no point in using the generic cities at all, imo. Not that I think I'd use them even if it was possible.
Stage 5 is likely to be next, as it shouldn't be too much work adding the rest of its' route to the time trial roads. Might be done in just a few days if everything runs smoothly.

Despite my sadness due the final GC standings in PBasco, I liked this year's route so Im looking forward to playing this in a career.
As usual with your stages, the TT looks great! Cant wait for the rest of the stages and to have Porte's revenge on PCM
Edit: I just did a test ride and it is no doubt a great stage, very well made.

Thanks, I'm glad you're all excited.
Unfortunately, it looks like the next stage will take a little while after all. I had almost finished it, but the .zcts file somehow broke in the usual annoying way which means that I have to redo the whole stage...

Cyanide will never be able to do a decent Stage Editor. Its really frustrating |

I was wondering, is there any way I could download your Giro Variant as a wholesome, a pack or something? Or do I have to download all stages individually? |

I think the link is somewhere earlier in the thread. To spare you the effort of searching for it: https://www.mediafire.com/download.php...08y2k2x7gv

Downloaded the pack. Profiles look amazing, a well balanced giro! I'll implement it in my database and I hope to use the profile next year (or the one after that) in my story
EDIT: it worked! I finally did it right. This is great, what a great Giro you made. Enough sprinter's stages, TT and mountain stages. Not too many hilly stages (which is good, in a GT I don't like them in PCM). They will be a variant besides the 2012 profile and the V1 released by Cyanide!
Great work, I hope the stages are as good as their profiles

Took me a little while to find the motivation required to continue working with the stages after the corrupted file, but at last I've finished another stage.
The opening stage is a fairly tough one, covering five categorized climbs. The last one is possibly the easiest though, so it's not really a killer day. I've seen both big groups, like irl, and riders soloing to the victory while testing.

The coastal town of Mutriku.
Descent into and finish line in Elgoibar.
Basso takes a solo win in one of my test runs.
EDIT: By the way, I'm glad you're enjoying it, Ian.
