Nice win by voeckler, but a bit dissapointed that no1 even really tried, besides Sammy, for some i can understand, like the youngsters. But radioshack???? 3 man in the top of the GC and no1 even tries to do something.. sigh..
And wtf happened to Tondo?? Lost morale after yesterday?? or was it the stupid fall on the finishline?? |

IMO not a really good race this year. Im disappointed
Also hope that next years route will be with no ITT. We knew before the weekend who would win the race, which isnt that much fun. Prolog is better then. |

There wasn't much to expect when the possible threats to Martin were Wiggins and RS, though. The ITT was indeed too long for a one week race, I think that 15km would be the longest reasonable with such a route. But the lack of ambition of (almost) everyone was worse than the route. |

Expecting Klöden to attack is a bit like expecting Cavendish to win the Alpe d'Huez stage. |

What we've seen in Paris-Nice is a very strong De Gendt and a Haussler who came 2 times short. Martin proved himself to be the 2nd best TT rider in the world. Sanchez is not in condition yet and Wiggins is good.

Voecler tryed to escape 3 times..managed to keep a lead and stage win twice. Amazing.
Martin won Paris-Nice...I love it.
Taaramäe 4th and best young rider..most of all good TT ride. Promising.
Final stage was boring |

Taaramäe blog..final stage..
Last km. Martin jumped out off the back and shouted.."Come on Rein I help you out..follow." that is how he keeped he's 4th place.
Pariisi-Nizza t Srm:
133km
3.30h
3900kcl
271w
Max 1130w
Max pulse 159 (did not moved much it was so cold and also fatigue))
Max speed 92km/h
Mid. pulse 139l
amazing pulse reading..for me.

His pulse doesn't mean much. They generally don't. Having a lot of amplitude (difference between rest pulse and max pulse) doesn't make you stronger, or weaker, than having a small one.
All you could guess is someone with a low rest pulse is having a powerful heart, but that doesn't mean too much either. I'd be a TDF contender otherwise (my heartbeat easily goes under 35...). |

I don't like how Voeckler wins today. Sitting in a wheel of some young guy on the climb, acting up with weird faces like you're hurting, and then sneaking off in the descent and unleashing all saved powers.
Just when I started liking Voeckler, I dislike him again for this.

Haussler won every bunch sprint when there had been an escapee winning |

I disagree. The GC was really boring yeah, but plenty of aggressive attacks were successful and in my eyes any Tour where Voeckler can take 2 wins is worth watching. |

He said in the interview he was completely exausted in the climb, he could barely keep the pace and he really wasn't expecting to win, but Ulissi didn't attack and Voeckler is a great descender, don't expect him to always let the others win (like in this years Tour du Haut Var )
Team Europcar !!
RIP Wouter
