Another solid points haul, which we need as well considering both the Dauphine and the Tour will most likely pass without us scoring any major points. Interesting to see Holst Enger score almost as much as Guldhammer. Says a lot about the importance of stage success in a GT compared to 6th-10th place in the GC, I think.

And those eBuddy points... Congratulations again! Pfft

And most say surprisingly strong Vuelta for SHE, congrats ember!

On Tinkoff's point of view: just like the Giro very disappointing; we send a perfect stage hunter/breakaway/KoM team but that strategy isn't working it seems... luckily our Tour setup is somewhat different, we'll keep hoping for the best!

So no stage win, only 5 times a top-10 in a stage (3*Kolesnikov, Boev and Zakarin) and we also weren't able to defend our Team Ranking Title of last year's Vuelta. The fact that Zakarin is higher than a few of my GT riders says a lot, Hill stat was apparently more important than Recuperation.

I did enjoy this Vuelta a lot nevertheless, congratulations alexkr00/Gesink/eBuddy with this GT victory!

Sorry about the late comment (and for not commenting while the race was on) - been absent for various reasons, so I'm just catching up now.

Not that I have much to say anyway other than: utterly humiliating. Another huge disappointment, another dreadful performance.

On the race itself, I can't add anything to SotD's excellent analysis - he was spot on with his comments on Orange's performance.

*sigh*

What a painful GT to watch... two crashes for Morton.. at least a few minor stage points. Durbridge having a bad season, but came close here.
