Nice to see Brambilla trying to do something. And a decent TT too.

Kami
Interesting tactics in Italy Pfft. Strange that Ulissi didn't even try to sprint though, as he did a decent job at it in the worlds RR.

Well having your whole sprint train from the same country obviously helps...but it's time now to let us have the PCT sprint king title for next season again, Meiji Wink

Good late sprint there from Gasparotto, he came from quite far back to finish fifth. Who knows what could have happened if he was better positioned. Congrats to Meiji on the title.

Stevenag
That went about as expected. Had to be a breakaway to have any chance.
On the positive side, we have signed Gasparotto according to the report. Will be a useful rider for next year.

Bushwackers
Well no TT title defense for Nibali, but I do enjoy seeing a pure TTer like Malori take it.

DubbelDekker
Cool to see a sprint train succeed like that. Congrats to Meiji.

I'm surprised at the low amount of Germans!

Congratulations to Meiji, nice to see them profit from a great leadout.

Also some decent racing in both Ukraine and Portugal! Though, especially Machado and Gustav must think "what if" after Machado showed his power on the final climb.

And thanks to the reporters for the pace being kept with so many NCs coming every day Smile

Oh well, congrats Valv, now that you won in your focus country, you don't care about the Japanese Championship anymore, right? Smile

Thanks, I think that's Sohrabi's third win in three years actually iirc and that's about the only reason I've kept him ........

Previous news of Sohrabi's retirement potentially premature then? You do realise that he'll probably win next year as well if you keep him on, he'll just keep doing so for ever and ever and ever ..... Wink

Let's put it this way: He is considering a comeback Pfft

Based on this and your HQ post, I'm not sure how you're going to get your squad to fit within the 20 rider limit Pfft

Haha, I have no clue myself either. I have done a lot of thinking in my head, and I have at least two written notes with different strategies as well, but the main point is that we want to keep as many as possible and build on the success from last season. Wink

Next close miss for one of my youngsters in Iran after we lost Austria already by a tiny margin. Hopefully from now on the NCs will be more successful for Siam Cement.

Yay! Nice one for Rangel. He's getting old, so it's probably his last chance, but he'll still be useful next year. Although I like him, I feel like I'm going to sell him to one of the South American/Mexican teams.

Thanks for this! Smile But Eritrea's NC are swapped around. Teklehaimanot is TT and Kiflay is RR. The obviously our team's figures need to change to 3RR and 1TT (excluding the result in Mexico)

Not at all satisfied with the Mexican road race. With Azteka not there it was our race to win. At least I got the TT, which is nice.

Congratulations to aidan with yet another NC.

Thanks for all the reports and congrats to all the winners. Smile

Interesting race in Ukraine and we are again without this most impotant jersey fro Metinvest. But at least we lost it to deserved winner and our friends from Privatbank, so i am happy it stayed "home". Congrats fjhoekie!

Zmorka with a fantastic ride to grab his first senior national title, as tsmoha said, most likely one of the many to come. I like you Kami as the manager, but this one was for your unwillingness to sell me Grabovski for few years. Pfft

Thanks for the summaries ggD, Metinvest still near the top with 5 jerseys already. Grin

I'll be back

Nice win for Koren in the Slovenian TT! Guess SotD will be pissed, but who am I to take care of that Pfft Still no safe spot for him on my roster, but of course we want to extend his contract on first hand.

No suprise to see the RR won by a breakaway though.
