Well, its pretty obvious you dont like Valverde, right?
Yeah, I don't like him at all Especially after World Champs, If I was Purito I'd punch him |

That exactly my point then! I know you would be one of the first to say something wasnt right (rightfully so), and you didnt. That just shows, to me, that he generally didnt do anything wrong.
Im sorry if you understood it otherwise, but really, no pun intended at all |

Valverde will back Valverde no matter what he is such a coward(not you the real one), what do you think of the WC mate?
Not really. I am fine with people having different opinions from me when they are legitimate. Afterall he is a doper. I dont expect many to be supporting him.
The WC was one of the best races last season imo, and one of the best WC's in a couple years for sure. As a Valverde fan it was disappointing but there were many situations where Purito was ahead. As team-mates Valverde cant chase him down. Sitting on wheels is the best strategy for him in that situation. Valverde chose to follow Nibali instead of Costa at the crucial moment. That is all.

The thing is that you complained about someone blindly hating Valverde, while you (seem to) have the same with Mollema,'which you bring up over and over again
Do your refer to my comment today about Mollema? Honestly, I just needed to put it out that i cant standing watching Mollema going uphill. Not because he is boring, doesnt attack or whatever, sole reason being he is a aesthetic fiasco to look at.
I all honesty, I will be one of the first pointing out if Mollema made any effort to make the race more interesting. He doesnt because he simply doesnt have the legs to do so as many of the other contenders and as fx. Valverde the other days in the Vosgues. I have respect for him fighting for his position as the other 5-10 GC guys does (as Valverde also would have done if Froome and Contador were healthy and he has done previous year). I simply just dislike watching him solely because of his horrific style on the cycle, thats really all. |

I keep getting the same hate from these Dutch guys (for the most part), and I've said nothing to provoke them. I like Belkin and Mollema.

I don't hate Belkin guys nor Valverde, but I don't really like any of them that much either. Am I now a good person?

Mollema can only get close to the podium by the same way Gesink got close to the podium. (He's 4th now )

Provisional numbers for the first of the longer summit finishes in the Tour.
Discounting trivial factors like racing the preceding 180km in the heat I think I could stay with him for a whole 2 minutes of those 50 minutes of climbing before my legs would explode.

Feel sorry for Porte, but if he wants to make the next step to being a GC contender over three weeks, days like this need to stop.
Great to see Pinot up there. Bardet and Van Gardaren left their run a little late. If they had gone with Pinot and Valverde, l think they may have taken time on them. |

Ah, with a tailwind I'd give myself another 30 seconds
Either way those initial numbers seem very good to me rather than anything shocking, especially if there was a tailwind. |

I could follow the main group for 10-15 seconds before throwing myself over the cliff. And seeing as the cliff would be something like 1,2 meters above ground level, I would just lay there watching the skies fly by for an hour or two, before getting up and walking down in aproximately 30-40 seconds.

Valverde is a dick subject:
Re watched a moment..
Pinot was pulling..come on help. Valverde ..no I wont.
1 min later Pinot almost stopped..and was saying like..this is it. I wont drag you anymore. Then Valverde attacked.
I dont find anything wrong there.
Only wheelsucker yesterday (damn I hate that word already) was Majka. |

This thread (and most of the ones this Tour) is why we need an ignore list feature. So many people who don't understand civilised debate. |

Just got back home (ie internet -> Daily) having watched the highlights yesterday, to read through all the comments on the stage. I found it a good stage to watch, a difficult climb that split everyone up pretty considerably and to actually see a GC favourite, let alone Valverde of all people, attack in the first half of the climb 10kms from the finish or whatever it was, was great; and the rest of the climb proved to be very entertaining, with many different subplots and personal battles developing along the road - would Konig and Majka hang on, could Piti and Pinot work together to bring back Nibbles, would Bardet keep his white jersey, who was the strongest out of that group just behind etc etc.
Reading through all these garbage arguments, which for the most part are so full of extreme personal bias, fanboysim, ridiculous sweeping statements, and false accusations that I just can't not laugh; makes me wonder if we could not just try and appreciate what we're seeing for a moment rather than criticise people for employing tactics that might, say, be advantageous for them in pursuing victory/time.
Rant over

Yeah, I said that too yesterday: In the replay, Pinot clearly pulled his brake. Valverde would be dumb if he didn't take advantage of that.
And yes, the term wheelsucker is an awful word. Right behind you there (hehe).
