What a way to end it
Thanks Ian for all the joy you give me by reading your reports. Great writing style, easy and written with a lot of love for cycling Can't wait for your new project in PCM 2013
Spoiler Ooh and btw, your Photo shop/Paint skills are getting better ande better For a second I thought that it was Stijn's real face.

Jesleyh - Yes, even the mighty Overijse Classic Thanks a lot! I hope I'm improving with every story But I think this story really made me a better story-writer in terms of endurance! I feel, and hope, I will make all stories last at least 100 pages!
PCM rulezz - Thanks for the kind words and, of course, the many replies during the story. They really kept me motivated! And also thanks for lying about my photoshop skills I hope to see you in my PCM 13 story. The love for cycling has only increased since writing this story
Miguel98 - A little later tonight. First I want to enjoy this Tour in all its glory
Daggen - I guess it's still a couple of weeks away. But if PCM 13 is without obvious bugs, I might get it started a few days after release. With a decent game, I can start with only a realname database!

Great story, great way to end it.
I would be honest and i won't say that this was the best story, but definitely one of the best from the day i joined until this moment.
Hope you can come up with another great story in PCM13 section. I
know i am pretty bad in it,but count on me as opponent for views/replies/pages.

You've got to try something new for PCM 13! A team story to challenge dienblad's is crying out to be attempted, and there are few better to give it a real go. But you can't just use the two man formula again for the hundredth time (yes i counted ).
Each story does get better and better, but you still need to sort the starting stats and development out to avoid the same problems you run into each time. If you can manage that then i can see a story of yours passing dienblad, i really do.
Anyway great story and you can now admit that they were all 85's

Ian, I have followed the last part of this story and the first and last part of Roberto Velazquez. Can you tell which of them who has the best stats?

An amazing way to end an amazing story!
What set this apart from other stories is that it felt like a real story not just a collection of reports, with it's constant soap-opera plot twists and turns, and that is one of the things that makes your story-writing so special
The pressure's on for the PCM13 story to top this though! Would be nice if you did something that you've never done before (team story or just something completely different)
Spoiler Now that it's over can you show us their stats? Pretty please?

kqyt - Thank you, thank you
admirschleck - I don't like the word opponent. Rather... colleague thanks a lot!
TheManxMissile - It won't be two-rider. I know I do a lot of those, but it's kind of my thing. That way I get to concentrate on a rider like in a one-rider story, but I can tackle different terrains without creating Merckx.
I thought about a team story, but I might just do a(nother) one-rider first, I've got a nice one in mind. And dienblad's story will be unchallenged into eternity, I couldn't even try to over-class that Thanks, and I will try to sort out starting stats and development, I know I have problems with that. I think the start stats were good now, but development way too high. Will set on 0.3 for PCM13.
kqyt (2) - Vélasquez was a 85 monster (in climbing, hill and rec)
Stromeon - I'll think about it Team story is definitely something for the future, but I'm young, I have time in my life if things go right, I might end up writing 100 more stories Thanks for the kind words! I always try to keep the story a story, not only cycling, but living as well.

And again, a funny part. Overijsse Classic. Great story! Hope to see you back with another good one, but the pressure is high now. Congrats with this story! And again, a big story ends. I think there's a big gap in the stories part, because there's no story which can retake the positions of Monster and Double Feature. Still, Stijn and Willy will be remembered here.

The second greatest story deserves no less than a banana.
Thanks, it's been a thrill to follow Ian. I can't even play this long in a career...let alone do a 164 page story.
TWO RIDER STORY OF THE YEAR!!!
baseballlover312, 06-03-14 : "Nuke Moscow...Don't worry Russia, we've got plenty of love to go around your cities"
Sarah Palin, 08-03-14 (CPAC, on Russian aggression) : "The only thing that stops a bad guy with a nuke is a good guy with a nuke"
Big thanks to jdog for making this AMAZING userbar!

Oh I forgot to say something
What about downloading the Daily DB for PCM 13 when it comes out? Then we won't have Sforza and all that; and loads of variants instead of having the same ones (eg the 2012 Tour route was the route for 2014/5 iirc)
