A guy like Alaph could light it up, but I think the GC teams are gonna be the driving force, so climbers will prevail.

I've been reading your TdF content over the past few days and I'm really enjoying it. Going to be a routine for the rest of the race, so thanks for that
As for the finish tomorrow, I think as bbl said it comes down to how hard Ineos and Jumbo either want to push or have to because of attacks, but I don't think there will be many of those yet. I can see a scenario where Alaphilippe stays with the first group and then he's the odds-on favorite. Among top GC contenders, my bet might be Pogacar. He's got the explosiveness and said today he might try something if his legs are good.

Awesome Cunego so proud to hear I think stage tomorrow isn't hard and the climb isn't hard enough to distance the likes of Alaphilippe/Schachmann, and they'll be in the fight for the win alongside the punchy climbers.

ECHELONS! Tomorrow is one of those days, it can blow up, it can finish in a pure sprint, it can finish with a sprint between gassed sprinters, what I can tell you is that tomorrow isn't gonna be that boring!

Breakaway or GC fight for the stage win? Either way it should be an exciting stage into Mont Aigoual and the GC fight could become even clearer.
PS: Don't expect far out attacks, I'm warning you!

With today's stage I'm sure all of you are just thinking of tomorrow by now, so early finish means early post!
Tomorrow is a tricky, lumpy and windy day, for the sprinters on paper, however reckon there could be a surprise?

Breakaway roulette!
We are finally making way into the Pyrinees. After a hard day in the hills of Occitanie, it's time to head into the high mountains. It's a day that can see the GC being stirred up and where a major stage win is up for grabs.

The Pyrinees have had a splendid start and tomorrow is another exciting and brutal stage! A duo of hard climbs, flying Slovenians, enigmatic Colombians and breakaway possibilities are all discussed here!

It will be a relief for many to come back to flat roads, pan-flat roads in fact. Covid allowing, this should be an interesting stage pointed towards the sprinters but with possibilities of echelons occuring once again.

Back at it! Tomorrow is a brutal day, almost 4500 meters in the menu in the Massif Central. A day for the break or the GC men? Either ways we're promised a big spectacle atop the spectacular finish atop the Pas de Peyrol.

The riders are set to leave the Massif in for a spectacular stage into Lyon. A day for breakaway men, classics specialists and rock hard sprinters, will make for a big show before the final stint in the mountains!

Welcome back to the Alps! The Massif gave us an enormous spectacle but after these hard days there will be yet another grind, and what a grind it'll be with a trio of brutal climbs in what is the race's traverse through the Jura!

Tomorrow is the day most GC contenders have been waiting for. A massive duo of mountains culminating in the new and brutal Col de la Loze.

The final alpine showdown! Today was a brutal day, and this race has been plenty hard, tomorrow is the final opportunity for the climbers to make a difference in the GC, and a final opportunity for plenty to take an elusive win.

The Alps are gone and will be missed. Tomorrow, an opportunity for the sprinters that have made the brutal traverse through the mountains... or the classics men? All will depend on two teams...

We have an amazing time-trial to wrap off the Tour tomorrow where in the streets of the Vosges I expect a swarm of bees to take over the first few spots. The GC fight for the year will have a deserving climax in La Planche des Belles Filles.

What a day it was, still feeling it. It will feel quite surreal to see a different rider in yellow tomorrow but we will see it, and in the end there is another stage to dispute. Cannot believe we made it to Paris!

It was a great race. I'm really happy that it's gone all the way to Paris and I also give a big thank you to all the readers! Let's have some days off and drink some ???? in the meantime.
