Bigger win than I thought Soler had in him. Fortune favors the brave.

Personally, not happy with Soler winning PN. I still remember his racing attiude from last year's Paris Nice which Bertie lost by a second and it wouldn't have been too much to provide some assistance back then.

Re-inforcing that Paris-Nice was indeed the best (stage) race of the year so far Smile

Indeed, a great, open race altogether, with a surprising winner, in my opinion. Unpredictability at its finest. Maybe the click Soler needed to kickstart his potential.

Pogacar with a nice GC podium finish in this puncher friendly stage race Smile

What happened to Kelderman today? Finished second to last, did he crash?

Pogacar looks very promising. Has a great punch too, looking at his results in sprints.

He can mix it up in a sprint, but his climbing is his best attribute. Hopefully he can show some of that at the Tour of Croatia next month.

My man MARC SOLER winning one of the biggest one week stage races. What a move on Peille, he was super strong. I wouldn't have had a problem with either of the Izagirres either, but Soler really deserved this one. Animo Marc

Richie Carapaz also really showcased his level after a very good Vuelta last year. Him, Soler and Rosón looks very promising for Movistar.

This has been a false season start for Sunweb's GC riders, no luck at all.

The combination of Tadej Pogacar and Jaka Primozic will be so great for Slovenia in the future. Imgaine those two in 5 years with Novak and Per developing further: This would make an awesome Slovenia squad.

What is Froome doing? Riding at the back.
Holding low profile? Look, I am harmless.

Yellow Jersey
Not related to any "controversy", but it is normal to see Froome like this in this time of season, and it's an imitation of last year if you look at it (and his first win was at the Vuelta)

Kittel wins in Italy but Sagan show was the interest over the last 7km - somehow avoids going down when Gaviria touched wheels directly in front of him then a related mechanical saw him gunning it back to the bunch and to the front before keeping Kittel honest at the death.

Great ride by Sagan to get back to the front, another hop through a roundabout Smile

Soler said that he is a big fan of Contador in the post-race interview:
"I was trying to replay a little of what Contador did in Paris-Nice," he said. "I was a big fan of his and I wanted to ride in his style. I thought that maybe the stage win was possible, but I was thinking more of the podium than of taking the jersey."
