Might be worth throwing Henao in there as well. I know he has been sick and probably doesn't care about the GC anymore, but still dropped earlier than usual.

It really depends on the crash. The day you crash there's adrenaline and all, so you finish the stage more or less correctly.
But falling makes sleeping more difficult, so the lack of rest eventually takes its toll a couple of days later. With the cold and rain, wounds will take even more time to heal, so he might be weakened for ever more days than usually in that case. |
