With everyone past the first intermediate time Wiggins holds best time, Froome is 28 seconds slower, Contador 29 seconds slower and Nibali has lost as much as 1'23'' to Sir Brad.

For the first time in this race Nibali is really feeling the pressure. 2'32'' down on Wiggins and 1'37'' down on Contador on the second intermediate!

Contador puts in a strong effort to open up the GC before the final 21 stages in his home country!

Real life: Cavendish won ahead of Sagan and Goss.

It's hard to expect this to end in anything but a bunch sprint, but none the less 14 riders hold a gap of 4'15'' entering Champs-Élysées with 52 km left of the stage.

With 25 km to go he sprinter teams have brought everything together. Wet roads and high speed could prove a dangerous combination though!

There's plenty af attacking, though no big gaps. With 16,5 km to the line its Lieuwe Westra, Robert Hunter and Sebatian Turgot half a minute ahead of the peloton.

Final 8 km and it's Cancellara against the rest. The rain has stopped, so hopefully we will avoid the big crashes in the finish.
