The first break of the day is already underway and was initiated by Pedraza/EPM-UNE. With him are also Elissonde/FDJ, Suarez/Colombia and Cuming/Rapha Condor
The lead was 1m 43s at the last time check
The peleton is putting the hammer down but as yet is having no affect on the lead
The foursome has managed to get the lead to over three minutes and it is now looking dangerous
Another five riders have broken clear of the peleton and are laying down the chase, they are Jeandesboz/Sojasun, Amorisun/Crelan-Euphony, Da Dalto/Cannondale, B.Jacques-Maynes/Jamis Hagens and Popovych/Radioshack-Leopard
Colli/Team Novo Nordisk has managed to tag on to the back of the chasers
The gap has been closed to 33s
Only Cuming/Rapha Condor remains at the front after the rest of his companions have been swallowed up by the now fast moving peleton
BMC Racing are now leading the chase at the five kilometres to go banner and have the gap down to just a handful of seconds
Burghardt/BMC Racing leads Rodriguez/Team Exergy under the red kite as the finish line beckons just ahead of them
But its the fast finishing Feline/Androni giocattoli who surprises them both and steals it on the line
