Interesting mid-race attack there
baseballlover312, 06-03-14 : "Nuke Moscow...Don't worry Russia, we've got plenty of love to go around your cities"
Sarah Palin, 08-03-14 (CPAC, on Russian aggression) : "The only thing that stops a bad guy with a nuke is a good guy with a nuke"
Big thanks to jdog for making this AMAZING userbar!

Well, I've finally caught up after reading through the whole topic in the last few weeks. Very well written overall sutty, I have to say you've done a great job here in spite of some technical difficulties along the journey. One minor question though with all the teams you've added; were those cyclists originally in the database you use or did you add them in?
As for the race, I hope Clarke holds off Tony and that the sprint duo can take something away from these final two days in Turkey. Good luck!
Maybe now I should update my own story now...

OZrocker - Its nice to know that you have spent the time to read the whole story, Massive Thanks for that , as for the extra teams i had to add a lot of the riders into the database but kept all the stats at 55-60 and finally anyone in the top four has a chance to win but i think our own chances have gone. |

PRESIDENTIAL TOUR OF TURKEY
Stage 7 – Kusadasi – Izmir – 115.9km
Sutton/Team Novo Nordisk has decided to have some time in front of the TV camera's and has attacked out of the peleton
SPRINT – Gatto/Vini Fantini
Nobody went with him so he decided to slip back in to the peleton
MOUNTAIN – Laengen/Team Novo Nordisk
It looks like the peleton is going to stay together again for most of the stage
Race Leader Clarke/Orica GreenEdge seems to be in a nice and relaxed mood for the moment
SPRINT – Serebryakov/Team Novo Nordisk
In to the last twenty kilometres
Laengen/Team Novo Nordisk has managed to muscle himself to the front of the race as he leads our sprint train
Meanwhile after a touch of wheels in the middle Di Luca/Vini Fantini and Mountains Leader Van Hecke/Topsport Vlaanderen find themselves chasing to stay in touch
MTN Qhubeka are now dictating the pace at the front
Gatto/Vini Fantini and Matthews/Orica GreenEdge start there sprint early and take everyone by surprise
And its the Australian who holds on to claim the stage win

It was nice to see Alexander mixing it up at the finish line even though he wasn't successful on this occasion but how nice was it to see Vegard Stake Laengen take control of the Mountains Classification |

Fabio Calabria has had to withdraw from the race after a fall during today's stage, the Team Doctor has said he suffered a fractured coccyx

Wow, I was really happy with the stage results until then. Two dopers got dropped to the back of the peloton, Laengen hits the lead in mountains, top ten for Alex, Orica one-two and the two guys both moving up in the GC.
Always bad when a crash spoils an otherwise good day. Hopefully Fabio will be back soon
